Many of the numerous Honkai: Star Rail quests and missions are extremely hard to complete. While some are fairly easy, some need thorough exploration, making the gameplay extremely tedious. For the “Ones Fallen Into the Abyss Quest,” Honkai players must explore Jarilo-VI’s Great Mine to complete it. But the quest is only available to players with Trailblaze Level 14 or above.
The Ones Fallen Into the Abyss quest demands a lot of searching and going back and forth through the map. Players are required to find two specific mine cart items, solve some puzzles, and fight powerful enemies. This is the 8th quest of “In the Withering Wintry Night,” the Chapter 1 Trailblaze Mission. There are several Automaton to face and puzzles to solve, and completing the quest will reward players handsomely. Without further ado, here is how Honkai: Star Rail enthusiasts can complete the quest.
Ones Fallen Into the Abyss Quest Guide in Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail players should head towards the Great Mine’s entrance first. Once they get close to it, players can talk with Seele and get started on the quest. Inside the mine, Natasha will be waiting for players, and once they interact with her, the game prompts another cutscene. Once it is over, the new “Relics” feature will unlock -- equip the Relics and proceed.
Once the Relic feature is on, the next requirement is exploring the depths of the mine. Honkai: Star Rail players must go up the ramp and navigate through the large bridge without wasting much time. Then, they will encounter a sleeping man named Peak and later Elaine; one needs to interact with both to track the location of Oleg and the other robots.
Further, down the path, the quest participants will face multiple Vagrants and get the Home-Use Object Finder, also known as Findie. This will be of great help down the quest. Once the bridge is crossed, players will end up at a fork.
Take the side path, get to a broken robot, and interact with it. A “Magnetic flux connector” puzzle will be activated; the robot will start moving upon solving it. Players must follow the Honkai: Star Rail robot, head through the small tunnel, and turn right to locate a valuable chest.
Once the Honkai: Star Rail chest is obtained, advance further inside. Then, navigate to the Spatial Anchor, and a cutscene will appear. Battle with the enemies and interact with the saved victims. This will lead players to repair a broken cart; they need to follow the tracks. Now, Findie comes to use; press the R key to activate him. Findie’s beam color guides players to these parts; a green color means getting close, yellow means far, and red means it's getting further away.
The first needed part, Mine Cart Pin, is close to the broken cart. Follow the direction Findie shows; the Honkai: Star Rail quest participants will locate the Mine Cart Pin on the right side of a small shimmer near a scaffolding. The Mine Cart Wheelset is the second part located near the Clayx. Activate Findie again to find its precise coordinates; it can be found near a wooden box next to the Calyx dungeon.
Collect these parts and return them to the broken mine cart’s location. Once it is fixed, go deeper, and the Direwolf Automaton will block the path. Players need to engage with the Direwolf and defeat it. The Automaton is weak against electric, imaginary, and ice damage. After defeating it, head to the center of the mine.
A cutscene will appear once players reach the center and encounter Clara and Svarog. After the cutscene ends, a Grizzly Automaton will challenge players to battle. It is weak against Electric, Ice, and Fire damage. Players can also aim to explode the Automaton Spiders near the Grizzly Automation and ensure maximum damage.
After defeating the Grizzly Automaton, players will be prompted with a cutscene. It will complete the Honkai: Star Rail Ones Fallen Into the Abyss Quest and reward players.
