Spending time with characters and helping them solve their problems is one of the best features of Honkai: Star Rail. Hook, for example, is the 'boss' of the underground which makes her a very important character. The little girl is also one of the first characters players will meet upon waking up in the Underworld.
As Trailblazers progress through the story and gain EXP in Honkai: Star Rail, they'll unlock special Quests called Companion Missions and the Old Foreman’s Treasure Quest just happened to be one of them. Players need to help Hook uncover a thief who stole her father's detector in Honkai: Star Rail.
Who Stole The Detector In Honkai Star Rail
Long story short, the Cook is the one who stole the detector in Honkai: Star Rail. Sadly, players can't immediately accuse him as it's necessary to speak with all four suspects before deciding who's the thief.
Upon arriving at the Vagrant Shelter Space Anchor within the Great Mine in Honkai: Star Rail, start speaking with four suspects alongside Hook:
- Talk to the Cook who points fingers at the Helper.
- Next, speak with the Tailor who insists that she didn't do it.
- After that, head to the Helper who like the Tailor, declares the same statement.
- Finally, talk to the Merchant who seems very suspicious and refuses to give any clear answers. After exhausting his dialogue, he reveals that the Cook is the thief.
While discussing with Swetta, she says that only one of them is lying, so by the rule of logic, the only possible culprit is the Cook.
When it’s time to confront the thief in the Great Mine, accuse the Cook who tries to run away with the detector. After searching for a while, Trailblazer will find him talking with Sampo in Honkai: Star Rail, trying to sell it. Interact with the Cook to engage in a battle and retrieve the stolen detector.
If by any chance players accuse the wrong person, it won’t cause any problems, but there will be some extra steps. For example, blaming the Merchant will make him angry and disappointed.
Hook then guides Trailblazer to the ‘crime scene’ to search for some clues and pinpoint the true thief. The clues eventually lead to the Cook speaking with Sampo in Honkai: Star Rail and the rest is similar to the previous scenario.
How To Trigger Old Foreman’s Treasure Mission
To trigger the Old Foreman’s Treasure Mission, it's necessary to reach level 14 and complete the Trailblaze Mission Lying in Rust. Upon getting the Quest, players must help Hook's father, Fersman, and patch him up at Natasha's Clinic since she's a healer in Honkai: Star Rail. Later on, Fersman seems dejected since his detector is stolen and there's no way to find it. Unlike her father, Hook is determined to find the thief and asks for players' help in investigating the Vagrant Shelter.
