In Honkai: Star Rail, the Trailblazers can explore different worlds, each with its own unique features, mesmerizing views, and storylines. When players make their way to The Xianzhou Luofu, they will discover an entirely different set of puzzle challenges, including the Luminflux Pyxis Puzzles. These puzzles require players to rotate certain devices to destroy orbs along the way while redirecting beams to the next orb until all of them are solved simultaneously.
Players can engage with a variety of puzzles for three days and receive additional rewards such as Stellar Jade and Trailblazer EXP. Although the puzzles become increasingly difficult each day, with added mechanics or devices to control, the experience is still enjoyable and rewarding. While it may take some time to complete, it is worth the effort to explore and conquer these unique puzzles.
How To Solve Luminflux Pyxis Puzzles
Players who have already completed the Humming Antlers, Entwined Horns Chapter in the story quest of Honkai: Star Rail will be familiar with the concept of the Luminflux Puzzles. These puzzles are used to destroy all Ambrosial Arbor coils and players will need to utilize the same gameplay mechanic. Moreover, the puzzle location won't be available until players advance in this quest, as the area will be locked behind it. Once players have completed this quest, they can access the puzzles daily for three days at the top right area of the Artisanship Commission Map by speaking to Master Gongshu. A puzzle marker will also be available on the map to remind the players that the new puzzles are available for these three days.
Unlike the story quest version, the Luminflux Pyxis puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail require players to destroy orbs instead of Ambrosial Arbor coils. Although the concept is similar, these puzzles are significantly more difficult than those found in the story mode. To complete these puzzles, players must rotate the devices in order to redirect beams of light into each other and destroy all the orbs on the way simultaneously. The last device does not require completing the loop and connect back to the launch device or any other device. Players have the option to rotate the devices clockwise or counterclockwise and afterward press Launch from the starting device to try destroying all orbs. In case of failure, players can attempt the puzzle multiple times with different adjustments. Players will be able to see the area from a birds-eye view to easily track where each light beam will be headed to. Players can also restart the challenge.
All Luminflux Pyxis Puzzles Day 1
The complexity level of these puzzles is relatively low, as only a few devices need to be rotated to solve them.
First Puzzle
To solve the puzzle, rotate the device under the light cone to align it with the one on the bottom right corner. Then, direct the bottom right transmitter to the top right one, which will in turn direct to the last remaining device, allowing all orbs to be obtained, as shown in the picture above. Players will be rewarded with a Basic Treasure Chest.
Second Puzzle
In this puzzle, there are 5 devices that players need to align in order to solve it. First, players need to align the bottom Left device, which should be directed by the launch device diagonally toward the top middle device. Then, players need to align the top middle device towards the device beside it on the right side. The third device needs to be rotated in such a way that it directs the beam toward the bottom right device. The bottom right device should direct the beam horizontally towards the left and last device. Finally, the last device needs to be aligned diagonally towards the top-left direction in order to obtain the last remaining orb. The reward for solving this puzzle is another Basic Treasure Chest.
Third Puzzle
The puzzle complexity has increased slightly as there are now six devices to direct, but it is still not very challenging. To solve this puzzle, the first device from the launch device needs to be directed towards the one on the right. The next device should be directed diagonally to the top right, which will then direct to the bottom to obtain the two orbs on the way. This device should then direct to the last remaining device, and the last device needs to be directed towards the top to obtain the final orb. This time, the reward for completing the puzzle is a Bountiful Treasure Chest.
All Luminflux Pyxis Puzzles Day 2
On day 2, the puzzles become more complex as players can now not only rotate the devices but also move them on the designated lines available underneath them. This adds more potential combinations to try until the solution can be achieved, ultimately making the puzzles more challenging.
First Puzzle
To solve this puzzle, players have 4 devices to control, of which only 2 can be moved. The launcher must be aimed at the top, and the nearby device needs to be moved to the right to align with the beam. The second device doesn't require rotation and can direct the beam towards the third device, which should be aimed diagonally towards the bottom right. The fourth device should be aligned with the direction of the third device and then rotated to aim for the orb at the top. The reward for this puzzle is a Basic Treasure Chest.
Second Puzzle
This time, there are again four devices to control, however, only three of them actually need to be rotated or moved to complete the puzzle. The device above the launch device must be rotated diagonally towards the bottom left, aligning it with the next device which needs to be moved to the spot. Once moved, this device needs to be rotated to direct straight to the top to the next device. As this device is already directing towards the two orbs, it doesn't need to be rotated. The last device needs to be moved up to align with the previous one and then rotated to direct diagonally towards the remaining orb in the lower right corner. The reward for solving this puzzle is also a Basic Treasure Chest.
Third Puzzle
The third puzzle of the day is the most complicated, as players must both move and rotate all five devices available. The first device, which is near the launch device, needs to be moved to the bottom and then rotated to direct diagonally towards the top-right to reach the next device. The second device must be rotated to direct diagonally towards the nearby orb at the bottom-right. The third device needs to be moved to the bottom to align, and then rotated to direct straight left to collect the two orbs and align with the fourth device. This fourth device must then direct diagonally towards the bottom-right to reach the last device, which needs to be directed towards the right to obtain the last remaining orb. This time, the reward is a Precious Treasure Chest.
All Luminflux Pyxis Puzzles Day 3
There are no new mechanics introduced on day 3 apart from the need to move and rotate the devices, yet the puzzles have become even more intricate with a greater number of devices to control. Finding the solution is not as obvious as in the previous puzzles. The best way to figure out them is to observe where the launch device is directing and trying to align the devices from that point onwards with the orbs on the way in mind.
First Puzzle
The first device closest to the launch device needs to be moved up to allow for the light beam from the launch device to direct to the one on the left side of it instead, while also being rotated to direct straight above towards the orb. This device will be the last one to receive the light beam. Consequently, the device which the launch device is now directing to also needs to be directed towards above to collect the two orbs on the way and to direct to the next device. The next device, afterwards, needs to be directed diagonally towards bottom left, aligning with the orb on the way and the fourth device, which needs to be moved towards the bottom to be aligned. After being moved, it also needs to be rotated to direct towards the first device straight right. The reward for this puzzle is a Basic Treasure Chest
Second Puzzle
Although all of the devices in this puzzle are moveable, it is not as complicated as it looks since only one device needs to be moved out of the four available. Players should start with the device on the bottom right corner, which needs to be rotated diagonally towards top left. Next, the device on the leftmost side above the launcher needs to be moved up to align with the first device's light beam. Once in position, it needs to be rotated to direct the beam towards the third device to its right. Now the third device needs to be rotated to direct the beam diagonally towards bottom left to align with the last device. Finally, the last device should direct the beam towards the remaining orb straight to its right. This time, the reward is a Bountiful Treasure Chest, unlike the second puzzles from the previous days.
Third Puzzle
The final puzzle in the Luminous Pyxis Puzzle collection is the most challenging of all, as the solution is not immediately apparent. With a total of six movable devices, the puzzle is significantly complex. However, players can refer to the solution below to adjust the devices accordingly and find the solution.
