The Night On The Great Mine can be considered a long Mission in Honkai: Star Rail as it’s divided into three parts and each one requires a day to appear on the players’ mission list. Each day consists of three puzzles, so there are nine mine cart problems to solve in total.
Trailblazers are tasked with helping an old miner train his apprentice by moving carts around to their proper position. Keep in mind that although the Quest is triggered in Boulder Town, it will actually take place at the Great Mine in Honkai: Star Rail.
How To Trigger Night On The Great Mine Quest In Honkai: Star Rail
To trigger the Night On The Great Mine Mission in Honkai: Star Rail, speak with Antonia who’s standing southeast of the Goethe Grand Hotel Space Anchor. Choose I heard you are looking for me to trigger the first part of the Quest. There are three parts and each one contains three puzzles.
The goal is the same for all puzzles; the empty cart needs to be on the blue track while the full cart must be on the yellow one. It’s also possible to use switches and change a track direction. Additionally, players can empty or fill a cart with crystals if necessary.
Triggering the Mission requires Trailblaze level 14 or higher.
Night On The Great Mine Quest (Part 1) Guide
Puzzle 1
This puzzle is quite simple:
- Simply interact with A and B
- Push the cart from 4 to 2.
Puzzle 2
To solve the second puzzle:
- Push the cart from 4 to 3.
- Interact with B.
- Push the cart from 1 to 4.
- Interact with A.
- Push the loaded cart from 4 to 2.
- Interact with B.
- Push the empty cart from 3 to 4.
- Interact with A and B.
- Push the cart from 4 to 1.
Puzzle 3
Follow these steps to solve the puzzle:
- Push the cart from 1 to 4.
- Interact with B.
- Push the cart again from 4 to 3.
- Load it with crystals.
- Push the now-loaded cart from 3 to 4.
- Interact with B.
- Push the cart from 4 to 1.
- Interact with A.
- Push the car from 1 to 2 to the yellow light.

Puzzle 1
Here’s how to solve the first puzzle in Honkai: Star Rail during the Night On The Great Mine Quest part 2:
- Interact with A and C.
- Push the empty cart from 5 to 2.
- Interact with C.
- Push the loaded cart from 4 to 5.
- Interact with A and C.
- Push the loaded cart to the blue light from 5 to 1.
- Interact with B.
- Push the loaded cart to the yellow light from 1 to 3.
- Interact with A and B.
- Push the empty cart from 2 to the middle of the railway.
- Interact with A.
- Push the empty cart to the blue light in 1.
Puzzle 2
It’s possible to finish the second puzzle by doing these steps:
- Interact with C.
- Push the empty cart from 5 to 1.
- Interact with C.
- Push the loaded cart from 4 to 5.
- Interact with C.
- Push the loaded cart from 5 to 1 (next to the empty cart).
- Interact with B.
- Push the loaded cart out of the way to station 3.
- Interact with B.
- Push the empty cart from 1 to 5.
- Interact with C.
- Push the empty cart to the blue light from 5 to 4.
- Interact with B.
- Push the loaded cart from 3 to 1.
- Interact with B and C.
- Push the loaded cart to the yellow light from 1 to 5.
Puzzle 3
Players will find two yellow lights in this puzzle instead of the regular yellow and blue:
- Push the loaded cart from 5 to 4.
- Interact with B and C.
- Push the empty cart from 1 to 4 (next to the loaded one).
- Interact with C.
- Push the empty cart from 4 to 5 and loaded it with crystals.
- Push it back next to the other cart to station 4.
- Interact with C.
- Push the newly loaded cart from 4 to 1 back to its original location in Honkai: Star Rail.
- Interact with A.
- Push the loaded cart from 1 to 3 into the second yellow light.
Night On The Great Mine Quest (Part 3) Guide
Puzzle 1
Follow these steps to solve the first puzzle:
- Push the empty cart from 3 to 2.
- Interact with A.
- Push the loaded mine cart to stop at the intersection point.
- Interact with A and B.
- Push the empty cart from 2 to 1.
- Interact with B.
- Push the loaded cart in the middle to 2.
- Interact with B twice to open access to 3.
- Push the loaded cart from 2 to 3.
- Load the empty cart.
- Interact with B once.
- Push the newly loaded cart from 1 to 2, to the empty yellow light.
Puzzle 2
Complete the following steps to finish the second puzzle:
- Interact with A and C.
- Push the empty cart out of the way from 4 to 2.
- Interact with C.
- Push the loaded cart from 5 to 4
- Interact with C again.
- Push the same loaded cart from 4 to 1 (next to the other loaded cart).
- Interact with B.
- Push the same loaded cart out of the way from 1 to 3.
- Interact with B.
- Push the empty cart all the way from 2 to 4.
- Interact with C.
- Push the empty cart from 4 to 5 into the blue light.
- Interact with C.
- Push the loaded cart from 1 to 4.
- Interact with B.
- Push the remaining loaded cart from 3 to 1 to the yellow light.
Puzzle 3
To solve the final puzzle in the Night On The Great Mine Quest in Honkai: Star Rail:
- Push the loaded cart from 5 to 4 into the empty cart.
- Interact with C.
- Push the loaded cart from 4 to 2 out of the way.
- Interact with C.
- Push the empty cart from 4 to 5 to the stacks of crystals and load it.
- Push the newly loaded cart back to its original location, station 4.
- Interact with B and C.
- Push the remaining empty cart from 1 to 4 (near the newly loaded one).
- Interact with C.
- Push the empty cart to the group of crystals at station 5 and load it.
- Push the cart back to station 4.
- Interact with C.
- Push the cart from 4 to 1 to the first yellow light.
- Interact with A.
- Push the cart from 1 to 3.
- Interact with A.
- Push the cart from 4 to 1.
- Interact with B.
- Push the cart that was out of the way from 2 to 4.
Each puzzle rewards Trailblazers a Treasure Chest in Honkai: Star Rail, and completing all of them gives the Sisyphus of the Mines Achievement.
