The Simulated Universe scales more intensely than the rest of the content in Honkai: Star Rail, and thankfully, so do the player's characters. Every run in this roguelite game mode is guaranteed to be different from the last, and all of them offer different ways to enjoy the game.

World 4 introduces a new Path for players to use. It comes complete with new Blessings and Resonance effects, and both of these are going to come in handy against the many mechanical enemies that are waiting down the line. Here's a quick rundown on the best teams and Blessings players can use to clear this part of Honkai: Star Rail's Simulated Universe.

Simulated Universe World 4 Best Team Compositions

Stacked DoT damage in SU World 4 of Honkai: Star Rail

The majority of tough enemies in World 4 are weak to Lightning DMG. Serval is hands down the best character to bring to World 4 because of her strong DPS and DoT output. The rest of the minor enemies are fairly easy to beat, and with the right Blessing combos, players won't need to worry about exploiting weaknesses. A sample F2P team comp for this world is:

  • March 7th
  • Natasha
  • Serval
  • Asta

This is a DoT setup that relies on Serval's Lightning Flash skill and Asta's basic attacks empowered by her Sparks Ascension Trace, which gives her a chance to inflict Burn on enemies. Players can go with many different teams based on which characters they have on their roster, but this one, in particular, is both accessible and shockingly powerful (for the reasons explained below).

Hook and Sampo can take Asta's spot for stronger DoTs and better overall DPS. If players are struggling to keep the team alive, then they can go for a Double Tank setup with Fire Trailblazer in the last slot instead.

Best Blessings for Simulated Universe World 4

Recommended Blessings for World 4 of Honkai: Star Rail's Simulated Universe

Upon running World 4 for the first time, players will be greeted by the AI simulation of IX, the Aeon of Nihility. This space god's Path focuses on DoT effects with small sprinkles of bonus Break effectiveness. With Serval and Asta's high chance to inflict Shock and Burn respectively, players will be able to melt every enemy they come across with endless DoT ticks. Here are the must-have Blessings for a Nihility run:

  • Funeral of Sensory Pursuivant
  • Emotional Decluttering
  • All Things are Possible
  • Questioning of Purpose
  • Ignosticism

Funeral of Sensory Pursuivant is needed for dealing big damage to bosses, especially Svarog, at the end. Upgrade this before starting the final boss encounter to prevent Suspicion stacks from wearing off. Suspicion increases DoT damage by up to 99%, making it great for high-health enemies. The Hell is Other People Blessing also deserves a special mention since it helps with AOE a lot.

As for Path Resonance, always take Resonance Formation: Outsider. This will drastically reduce the cooldown of the Nihility Path Resonance, resulting in more consistent DoT stacking. If possible, take Doubtful Fourfold Root next for near-guaranteed DoT effect application.

For secondary Paths, players can take a few Blessings from Elation, Preservation, and Remembrance to help with damage, survivability, and crowd control, respectively.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
