The Simulated Universe has one of the most enjoyable gameplays in Honkai: Star Rail. So many rewards are available within its Worlds if players manage to defeat their enemies and bosses. At World 3 and after, every Simulated universe World has multiple difficulties where players are sure to get better rewards and higher rarities for their targeted Planar Ornaments.

However, Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2 in Honkai: Star Rail isn’t the easiest World to dive into, especially if players are still sitting in Equilibrium level 3. Gepard guards the final portal in this Simulated Universe World.

Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2 In Honkai: Star Rail

how to beat gepard in honkai star rail

For the Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2, Gepard is more deadly than ever while protected by three different sets of enemies. He has three phases of HP bars, and he'll bring two allies at the start of each phase. The first and second allies are not too bad, but he summons two Elite enemies in the final phase, so players must watch out.

Phase

Enemies

Weakness

1

Silvermane Soldier and Silvermane Cannoneer

Wind, Quantum and Physical, Ice, Imaginary

2

Silvermane Cannoneer

Physical, Ice, Imaginary

3

Silvermane Lieutenant (Complete)

Physical, Ice, Quantum

Gepard doesn’t stun or steal characters, but after a few turns of each phase, he will summon a massive shield that protects his entire team. Players then must deplete the shield's HP before they can defeat the enemy. This state also removes weaknesses, so players should try to beat the minions as soon as possible. Otherwise, they'll be stuck with three immortal enemies.

If players deplete the HP bar fast enough, it's possible to skip the shielding ability. Gepard will still summon the shield even if he's alone.

The best Paths to take when playing the Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2 are Preservation, Remembrance, or Abundance. Both Preservation and Abundance highly protect characters; Preservation allows characters to stay shielded against Gepard while he and his troops kill themselves on the s team's shield, while Abundance offers an insane amount of survivability, even with its Path Resonance. Meanwhile, Remembrance is a very straightforward Path where players are able to deal a massive amount of damage through Dissociation and keep the enemies controlled with Freeze.

As for characters, It’s important to enter the Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2 with a team that is able to handle Gepard and all the other bosses. While most mini-bosses are weak to Ice, Gepard is an Ice character, which makes it hard to run Ice. Of course, all that changes when more Remembrance Blessings are obtained. Additionally, Physical units alongside Lightning characters are able to handle every boss and Gepard.

Preservation Path has the best Blessings to take into any Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail. Once players collect enough Preservation Blessings, especially Divine Construct: Metastatic Field, the enemies will start killing themselves on each of the characters’ shields. Of course, to fully benefit from the Blessings, players have to bring a decent team that can constantly generate shields and maintains them.

Although Preservation suggests that the team should be highly defensive, to deal damage, Preservation Blessings depend on Quake damage that can be amplified through DMG additions like CRIT hits. For that, players can take both the Hunt and Preservation Blessings that add a small value of CRIT Rate, which are Construct: Concentration and Skirting Life and Death.

Remembrance Path Guide For Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2

Remembrance Path is a niche risky plan to have in the Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2 since Gepard is the final boss, and he’s an Ice character in Honkai: Star Rail. But if done right, taking these types of risks would prove rewarding. Most of the mini-bosses have a weakness to Ice, which makes bringing an Icy team effective the entire run until meeting with Gepard. Due to his Frozen RES, it's important to reduce the enemy's RES as much as possible, which can be done with the Resonance Formation: Total Recall and Experience: Unspeakable Shame Blessings.

If players obtained Ultimate Experience: Shudder during their run into the Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2, then inflicting Ice weakness on Gepard is a matter of time since the Blessing has a chance to add an Ice Weakness to Gepard after casting any Ultimate. But that’s not where the Remembrance path’s damage lies. Dissociation is a passive damage effect players can get and enhance through multiple Remembrance Blessings and its damage can be insane under the right setup. To fully benefit from Dissociation, obtaining the Remembrance Blessing Perfect Experience: Fuli is essential.

Abundance Path Guide For Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2

honkai star rail best simulated universe blessings
  • F2P team: Serval - Physical Trailblazer - March 7th - Natasha
  • Best team: Clara - Welt - Serval - Bailu

Abundance Path allows players to play without any worries since they will keep having their characters healed and protected throughout every battle in the Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2. But unlike the Preservation Path, with Abundance, players don’t need to stack healers to keep triggering the Blessings effects. Instead, one healer is enough to add a little emergency touch while the Abundance Resonance is going to do the job of healing, buffing, and triggering all the passives. One of the best Blessings to get is the Resonance Formation: Anatta. It will periodically heal the team, which can be seen from the turn sequence on the top-left.

Players can build a strong reliable team if they went with Clara, Welt, Serval, and Bailu to dominate the Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2. Clara can protect everyone with her Ultimate while dealing some of the hardest damage in Honkai: Star Rail. Serval and Welt are the core engine of the team since they’re great at debuffing and dealing high damage. As for a F2P team, Physical Trailblazer, Serval, March 7th, and Natasha can get the job done without issues.
