Upon arriving at the Administrative District in Honkai: Star Rail, players will be able to interact with various trash cans, and sometimes they will receive a reward. The area is totally safe as it’s where the residents of the Overworld live, so there are no enemies or monsters in sight.

Weirdly enough, by investigating the trash cans in Honkai: Star Rail, players will get an Achievement for their hard work. To get the Diogenes' Utopia achievement in Honkai: Star Rail, Trailblazers must salvage 10 items from the available 20 trash cans.

How To Get The Diogenes' Utopia Achievement in Honkai Star Rail

To get the Diogenes' Utopia Achievement in Honkai: Star Rail, Trailblazers must obtain 10 items from the 20 trash cans scattered around the Administrative District. Although there are no enemies around, one of the trash cans is inaccessible until players complete the Main Mission of level 24. Fortunately, the trash can at the cable car station doesn't grant any item, so the achievement can be completed even before then.

Here are all items players can get from all the 20 trash cans:

Lower Administrative District

From the Goethe Hotel Space Anchor, interact with the first trash can near it, and the second one is found west. Climb the stairs to the hotel north, interact with the third bin, then descend the same stairs to find the fourth and fifth east. Turn northwest and investigate the sixth and seventh trash cans. After that, walk north to find the eighth can next to a dumpster. Turn east to see the ninth trash can next to the stairs’ railings.

From these batches, players must interact with trash cans number 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9 to get the required items.

Middle Administrative District

Fast-travel to the Central Plaza Space Anchor and go northeast to find the 10th trash can on the left side of the Book Store; this is the only trash can players must investigate for the Diogenes' Utopia achievement. Now, walk to the store’s east side to rummage through the 11th can. As for the 12th trash can, walk southeast near Bronya’s location in Honkai: Star Rail to locate it.

The 13th and 14th trash cans are very close to each other. Players can go south around the statue from the previous location or walk southeast from the Central Plaza Space Anchor to see the 13th trash can. Simply continue southwest to interact with the 14th one.

Upper Administrative District

The remaining five trash cans are in the upper section of the Administrative District in Honkai: Star Rail. Teleport to the Golden Theater Space Anchor and turn around to investigate the 15th trash can. The 16th and 17th trash cans are found northwest and northeast respectively; these two are the only trash cans that grant an item from this batch.

Just south of the theater is the 18th trash can, which can be reached by heading southeast from the waypoint. Descend the stairs and walk south to locate the 19th can next to a vending machine.

Administrative District Lower Floor

Finally, descend the stairs and walk around the cable car station to the other side and interact with the 20th and final trash can. Among all the available silver objects, this one is not worth investigating as it only gives a boring prompt and no reward. If players still insist on checking it out tho, it's important to know that it's not immediately accessible. That’s because the station is locked behind Trailblaze level 24 Mission in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
