Birthday is often one of the most sought occasions, and it's even better when someone's favorite game celebrates it along with the birthday person. This is the case with HoYoverse games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. On their birthday in Honkai: Star Rail, players will get a surprise gift from the game, which will sweeten the special day.
However, before players can set up a birthday in Honkai: Star Rail, they must first progress through the first few minutes of the game. Once the menu is unlocked, players can input their special day on their Trailblazer profile. Later on, assuming people have done the Moment of Peace quest and unlock the Warp function, they can check their mailbox for their birthday gift. What Does Honkai Star Rail Do On Your Birthday?
Just like in Genshin Impact, setting up a birthday in Honkai: Star Rail means players will get a gift on their special day. However, unlike in Genshin where the present is a cake and Fragile Resin, in Honkai: Star Rail, players will get 100 Stellar Jades + A special cake on their birthday.
If the game follows the pattern of its predecessor, the cake will differ each year, with the first year’s cake called First Voyage’s Blessing.
Unlike in Genshin Impact or the final CBT, though, the birthday cake can’t be used, which means there’s no extra Trailblaze Power (Resin-equivalent) from it. Fortunately, players can always use 50 of their 100 Stellar Jade to recharge 60 Trailblaze Power for the first time of the day.
Farming In Honkai Star Rail
Farming in Honkai: Star Rail may feel as tedious as in Genshin Impact, if not more. HoYoverse keeps the stamina system under the name of Trailblaze Power, and players can keep a maximum of 180 at a time before it stops regenerating.
Every character Ascension and level-up will require plenty of farming. First, players will need Credit (money), Character EXP and boss materials. After that, Path-material and Weapon EXP for Light Cone (weapons), and then, more Path-material have to be farmed for each character’s Trace (skill tree).
There will also be other materials like Weekly Boss and Simulated Universe farming. Of course, after all that, players will eventually enter the Relic hell, where they must obtain six pieces with the desired stat.
However, the game does allow up to eight Trailblaze Power recharges using Stellar Jade, which means spending players can progress faster. Additionally, the game comes with an auto-battle feature, which means people can farm in Honkai: Star Rail while AFK, assuming their team is strong enough to rely on the game’s AI.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
