Nameless Honor in Honkai: Star Rail is a seasonal reward system during each patch that offers players additional tasks and levels to complete for exclusive rewards. Nameless Honor features two tiers: a free tier and a paid tier, with the paid tier offering more rewards and benefits. By completing daily and weekly missions, players can earn experience points to level up their Nameless Honor and unlock rewards such as Stellar Jade, currency, and character level up materials and more. As such, it can be a rewarding system, providing players with a sense of progression and accomplishment as they complete challenges and earn exclusive rewards.

In Honkai Star: Rail, players have the option to purchase the Nameless Glory, which is the paid versions of the Nameless Honor. This version offers additional rewards such as exclusive light cones, character ascension materials, and more valuable resources such as Special Star Rail Passes. However, the paid option is not necessary to fully enjoy the game or complete the Nameless Honor.

Is Nameless Glory Worth It?

Especially in early game, the Nameless Glory might look very appealing to the players as it can allow for a significant boost in character progression. Ultimately, however, whether the Nameless Glory is worth it or not depends on individual preferences and playstyle. The paid option offers additional rewards such as exclusive light cones, more ascension materials, and special star rail passes, which can be used to obtain new characters or light cones. However, it does require a financial investment.

Players who are willing to spend money and are looking for additional rewards and a sense of progression may find the Nameless Glory worth it. On the other hand, players who are not interested in spending money or do not feel the need for extra rewards may not find it necessary to purchase the Nameless Glory, especially as they have access to higher Equilibrium levels, which will allow them to obtain many of the materials on the rewards list with not as much as Trailblaze power. Ultimately, the biggest aspect regarding Nameless Glory is the exclusive 4-star light cones, which may be worth spending real money in the game for some players. However, there are similar light cones that are obtainable even as a F2P player, that can perform better in many instances.

Which Light Cone To Pick From Nameless Glory?

At level 30 of the Honkai: Star Rail's Nameless Glory, players are presented with a choice of seven light cones, based on each path. The decision of which one to choose ultimately depends on a player's individual play style and their roster of characters. Before making a decision, players should carefully consider the light cone's stats and passive abilities and how well they align with their desired playstyle. Additionally, players should consider which characters they have and which light cone would benefit them the most.

For example, Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds is an excellent choice for Harmony characters, in particular with Tingyun since it synergizes with her entirely. On the other hand This Is Me! can be highly beneficial on Fire Trailblazer or March 7th, or any other upcoming preservation character that scales with the DEF.

Ultimately, the choice of which light cone to choose is up to the player's preferences and playstyle. However, it's important to note that the Nameless Glory light cones are some of the strongest light cones in the game and can significantly boost a player's team's overall power level.

All Nameless Glory Light Cones

Here is a comprehensive list of all available light cones, including their path ability, stats, and priority. This should help players determine which ones to prioritize when choosing.

Warmth Shortens Cold Nights

Honkai Star Rail_ Warmth Shortens Cold Nights
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 1058 HP - 370 ATK - 396 DEF
  • Path: Abundance
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's Max HP by 16%. When using Basic ATK or Skill, restores all allies' HP by an amount equal to 2.0% of their respective Max HP.
  • Priority: Low

Although the Warmth Shortens Cold Nights is available, it may not be the best option to pick as the number of Abundance characters is currently limited. Instead, Post-Op Convervation or Quid Pro Quo (which can be obtained for free through the Forgotten Hall rewards) may be a better choice. However, if players want to invest in the available healers, Natasha and Bailu, who both scale with HP, the Warmth Shortens Cold Nights may still be a good option for them.

We Will Meet Again

Honkai Star Rail_ We Will Meet Again
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 846 HP - 529 ATK - 330 DEF
  • Path: Nihility
  • Ability (S1): After the wearer uses Basic ATK or Skill, the wearer deals 48% of ATK as additional DMG to a random enemy that is attacked by abilities.
  • Priority: Low

Like Abundance characters, Nihility characters are currently limited, making it difficult to access them without gacha. While this light cone can be helpful for Nihility sub-DPS, it only affects their Skill and not their Ultimate. Additionally, it lacks any additional utility, unlike F2P 4-star Nihility light cone Fermata, which provides a stronger Break Effect buff. It could however still be a good option for future characters like Kafka.

This Is Me!

Honkai Star Rail_ This Is Me
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 846 HP - 370 ATK - 529 DEF
  • Path: Preservation
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's DEF by 16%. Increases the DMG of the wearer when they use their Ultimate by 60% of the wearer's DEF. This effect only apply 1 time per enemy target.
  • Priority: High

Players have access to several great 4-star light cones for Preservation, but if they are focusing on freely given units such as March 7th and Fire Trailblazer, the DEF-scaling Warm Iron Sword can be highly beneficial. It boosts their damage and shielding ability. However, since other viable Preservation light cones are obtainable, players may want to consider a 4-star light cones suited to a character from a different path without a viable 4-star or 5-star light cone option.

Return to Darkness!

Honkai Star Rail_ Return to Darkness
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 846 HP - 529 ATK - 370 DEF
  • Path: Hunt
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12%. After a CRIT Hit, there is a 16% fixed chance to dispel 1 buff on the target enemy. This effect can only trigger once per attack.
  • Priority: Medium

Return the Darkness is a solid choice for beginner players who use Hunt characters as their main DPS in most content. The Crit rate increase is a boon for increasing damage output, and it even has a chance to dispel enemies, which Hunt characters usually lack. However, to make this ability consistent, players must invest in the light cone multiple times through different Nameless Honor durations. In the long run, F2P 5-star options like Cruising in the Stellar Sea provide more benefits without costing real money and offer higher stats. Nevertheless, players focusing on other light cones or utilizing multiple Hunt characters for different teams may find it worthwhile.

Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds!

Honkai Star Rail_ Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 952 HP - 476 ATK - 330 DEF
  • Path: Harmony
  • Ability (S1): At the start of the battle and whenever the wearer's turn begins, one of the following effects is applied randomly: All allies' ATK increases by 10%, all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 12%, or all allies' Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 6%. The applied effect cannot be identical to the last effect applied, and will replace the previous effect. The applied effect will be removed when the wearer has been knocked down. Effects of the similar type cannot be stacked.
  • Priority: High

Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds is a great choice for Harmony characters as it can further buff team members without significant conditions as a universal light cone option. Similar to The Widsith in Genshin Impact, this light cone offers a powerful buff at random. To fully benefit from this light cone, high speed is required, making characters like Tingyun a perfect fit. As Tingyun and Bronya are highly sought after, players who are lucky enough to obtain them without a suitable light cone can consider Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds.

Nowhere to Run

Honkai Star Rail_ Nowhere to Run
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 952 HP - 529 ATK - 264 DEF
  • Path: Destruction
  • Ability (S1): Increases the wearer's ATK by 24%. Whenever the wearer defeats an enemy, they restore HP equal to 12% of their ATK.
  • Priority: Medium

Nowhere to Run is a viable option for players who wish to use Destruction characters, but since most of these characters are not in high demand, except for Clara, it may not be the best choice for many players. However, for Clara owners in particular, this light cone can be a great substitute for those who do not have her signature light cone, Something Irreplaceable. Nowhere to Run provides an attack increase and HP restoration, which can be more beneficial than the free 5-star Destruction light cone option from Herta's store, On the Fall of an Aeon, since its secondary benefit is easier to achieve in battles that involve multiple enemies, helping the character's survivability.

Today Is Another Peaceful Day

Honkai Star Rail_ Today Is Another Peaceful Day
  • Stats (Lvl 80): 952 HP - 529 ATK - 264 DEF
  • Path: Erudition
  • Ability (S1): After entering battle, increases the wearer's DMG based on their Max Energy. DMG increases by 0.20% per point of Energy, up to 160 Energy.
  • Priority: Low

Compared to other Nameless Glory light cones, Today Is Another Peaceful Day isn't as appealing because there are other viable 4-star options that can be obtained for free through leveling up or participating in events. For instance, completing Trailblaze Mission or redeeming rewards from the Forgotten Hall Store can get players The Seriousness of Breakfast light cone, and participating in the All Stars Invite Web Event can earn them Serval's signature light cone, Make the World Clamor, for free. Although Today Is Another Peaceful Day provides a high DMG boost for characters with a large energy gauge, it may not be as valuable for those with a smaller energy gauge.

Honkai: Star Rail is released on April 26th for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
