Honkai: Star Rail introduces a wide range of currencies, each serving a specific purpose and providing unique rewards. Among these currencies, players will encounter Stellar Jades, which are primarily utilized for Gacha banners, and World currencies, which can be spent in various merchant stores to acquire trailblazer eidolons and other valuable resources. Another notable currency is Herta Bonds, which can be exchanged in Herta's Store for exclusive 5-star light cones.

In addition to these currencies, players will also come across Lucent Afterglow while engaging in certain activities. This currency also has a specific use and rewards system for those who collect enough of it. The game's emphasis on various currencies adds depth to the gameplay, giving players multiple avenues to progress and increase the strength of their characters. As players continue to explore the world of Honkai: Star Rail, they may discover new and different currencies to help progress through their journeys.

How to Get Lucent Afterglow

Honkai Star Rail_ Lucent Afterglow Sources

There are currently two ways to obtain Lucent Afterglow in Honkai: Star Rail. The first and primary method is through the Forgotten Hall, while the second way is by participating in Echoes of War battles. To unlock the Forgotten Hall, players need to reach Trailblaze Level 21 and complete the Fleeting Lights Trailblaze main story quest. On the other hand, Echoes of War becomes accessible after completing the In the Dangerous Muddy Swamp quest around Trailblaze Level 25.

Forgotten Hall serves as the primary source of Lucent Afterglow, especially in the early stages of the game. Players can progress quickly through the memory levels, earning 20 Lucent Afterglow for clearing the early levels and 40 Lucent Afterglow for the later ones, regardless of the number of stars obtained. This distinction is because the rewards for clearing levels and the star rewards are separate in the Forgotten Hall. Therefore, players who urgently need to accumulate enough Lucent Afterglow should focus on clearing the levels regardless of turns taken or the status of their allies.

On the other hand, Lucent Afterglow serves as an additional reward alongside the primary Trace upgrade materials, relics, and other items obtained from Echoes of War battles. Players can currently redeem Echoes of War rewards three times per week, with each redemption costing 30 Trailblaze power. It is advisable for players not to miss out on maximizing this option every week to ensure they don't miss any valuable rewards it offers.

Each light cone available in this store can be obtained by spending 200 Lucent Afterglow. There is no limit on the number of light cones that can be redeemed, making it excellent for superimposing them later as well. It is important to note that unlike Herta's Store, there is a light cone option for each path, and they are not exclusive to this store. As such, the weapons here are also obtainable through gacha or potentially as other rewards.

Currently, the available light cones are:

  • Quid Pro Quo - Abundance
  • Fermata - Nihility
  • We Are Wildfire - Preservation
  • River Flows in Spring - The Hunt
  • Past and Future - Harmony
  • Woof! Walk Time! - Destruction
  • The Seriousness of Breakfast - Erudition

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
