Back to All Characters

Sushang is a 4-star character in Honkai: Star Rail that follows the Hunt path and one of the returning characters from Honkai Impact 3rd. She is highly sought after by fans of this universe. Despite being a 4-star character, Sushang excels in boss battles due to her high scaling skill values and powerful follow-up attacks.

This becomes even more pronounced when players focus on effectively building her. Fortunately, Sushang has access to numerous great light cone options in Honkai: Star Rail, which can be obtained through gacha or as free-to-play options, allowing her to easily maximize her potential. Typically, the hunt light cones showcase a high ATK value to help with their DPS potential.

5 Only Silence Remains

Honkai_ Star Rail – Sushang and Only Silence Remains
  • Base ATK (LVL 80): 476
  • Base DEF (LVL 80): 330
  • Base HP (LVL 80): 952
  • Effect : Increases ATK of its wearer by 16%/20%/24%/28%/32% . If there are 2 or fewer enemies on the field, increases wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12%/15%/18%/21%/24% .

Only Silence Remains is a 4-star light cone that can be obtained through gacha and is highly effective on Sushang, particularly in boss fights where additional mobs are not commonly summoned. It not only unconditionally increases Sushang's ATK, but also boosts her Crit Rate if certain conditions are met, allowing her to land more critical hits. If players are planning on equipping her with the Inert Salsatto Planar Ornament Set, this light cone also makes it easier to fulfill its condition, although there are multiple other great relic options available for her as well.

4 Swordplay

Honkai_ Star Rail – Sushang and Swordplay
  • Base ATK (LVL 80): 476
  • Base DEF (LVL 80): 330
  • Base HP (LVL 80): 952
  • Effect : For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8%/10%12%/14%/16% , stacking up to 5 time(s). The stack effect will be reset when the wearer changes targets.

Swordplay shares many similarities with Only Silence Remains. Both are 4-star light cones obtainable through gacha and have the same base stat values. They are also both highly suitable for boss battles. However, Swordplay, featuring Sushang in its artwork, excels in every boss fight regardless of the number of summoned mobs. To maximize the damage dealt by Sushang, it is important to focus on a single target. While Swordplay may not be ideal for battles where the enemy has crowd control abilities like taunt, it is an excellent 4-star light cone option for players who do not have access to any 5-star options.

3 Cruising in the Stellar Sea

Honkai_ Star Rail – Sushang and Cruising in the Stellar Sea
  • Base ATK (LVL 80): 582
  • Base DEF (LVL 80): 463
  • Base HP (LVL 80): 1058

Cruising in the Stellar Sea is a 5-star light cone that is actually available as a completely free-to-play option. Players can easily obtain and fully enhance it through the Herta's Store, using Herta Bonds obtained from clearing the Simulated Universe. The Hunt light cone option in the store is the most viable choice, allowing players to redeem it without hesitation. This light cone not only increases Sushang's crit rate exceptionally, especially when the enemy is below half HP, but also boosts her ATK for 3 turns after defeating an enemy. This makes it a versatile option for various types of battles where the previous two 4-star light cones may not excel.

2 Sleep Like the Dead

Honkai_ Star Rail – Sushang and Sleep Like the Dead
  • Base ATK (LVL 80): 582
  • Base DEF (LVL 80): 463
  • Base HP (LVL 80): 1058
  • Effect : Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 32%/40%/48%/56%/64% . When the wearer’s Basic ATK or Skill does not result in a CRIT Hit, increases their CRIT Rate by 40%/45%/50%/55%/60% for 1 turn(s). This effect can only be triggered 1 time every 3 turn(s).

Sleep Like the Dead is a 5-star light cone option available in the standard banner. It shares the same stats as Cruising in the Stellar Sea, but its main focus is increasing the wearer's Crit DMG while also providing consistent crits by boosting Crit Rate if no crits have been landed. With an easily fulfillable condition and a powerful bonus effect, Sushang's damage output will be significantly enhanced regardless of the content. However, it is worth noting that the F2P option is not far behind in terms of capabilities. Therefore, it is recommended to use this weapon on Sushang only if players have obtained it through their gacha pulls. It is not advisable to specifically aim for it by purchasing it from the store using Undying Embers, as there are other strong 5-star gacha weapon options for different paths that may prove more valuable in comparison.

1 In The Night

Honkai_ Star Rail – Sushang and In The Night
  • Base ATK (LVL 80): 582
  • Base DEF (LVL 80): 463
  • Base HP (LVL 80): 1058
  • Effect : Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 18%/21%/24%/27%/30% . While the wearer is in battle, for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100, increase the wearer’s Basic ATK and Skill DMG by 6%/7%/8%/9%/10% , and increase the CRIT DMG of their Ultimate by 8%/10%/12%/14%/16% . This effect can stack up to 6 time(s).

In The Night is commonly known as Seele's signature light cone, but it is also a suitable option for Sushang in situations where players prefer to use Sushang due to enemy weaknesses. It not only significantly boosts the wearer's crit rate but also provides an additional damage buff based on the type of attack used. While it is worth noting that Seele has a higher base Speed value than Sushang, as a Hunt character, Sushang still possesses a significantly high Speed value. This value can be further enhanced by equipping her with appropriate relics or utilizing speed buffs from support team members like Asta's Ultimate. Consequently, it is possible for Sushang to stack this weapon and reach its maximum value, allowing her to easily achieve a speed of 160. This not only enables her to potentially land additional hits in the same turn but also ensures consistent high-damage attacks regardless of the battle type or attack used.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
