The Young Guard Gepard is an Ice character in Honkai: Star Rail, matching the theme of his snowy homeland, Jarilo-VI. He follows the Path of Qlipoth, the Aeon of Preservation, and performs as a defender for his Honkai: Star Rail team. With his Skill, Gepard can Freeze the enemy, while the Captain's Ultimate grants a shield to the entire team.
Although not as overpowered as the shield he grants in some Simulated Universe levels in Honkai: Star Rail, Gepard is still an excellent shielder. Other than granting survivability to the team, though, Gepard also has a higher chance of getting attacked by the enemy, so properly leveling him up is crucial to ensure his own survivability. Therefore, players should collect the following Gepard materials if they wish to use him in Honkai: Star Rail.
