There are several skill trees in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in which players can invest their Skill Points, giving them the means to upgrade Cal Kestis. Even with the five different lightsaber stances, players can master each one with their skill trees, and slowly become unstoppable with the best lightsaber skills.

But, the Force has some of the best skills and passive abilities that many players could overlook. That is especially true for the Confusion tree. Force Confusion is one of the most underrated powers in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and players should start investing in its skill tree more. Mastering the Confusion skill tree will help turn Cal into a mind-controlling Jedi Master, much like Obi-Wan Kenobi. By using the following skills, Cal can use the enemies themselves to defeat one another.

7 Addled Mind

Once players have learned the Force Confusion ability, they will be able to use Cal to turn other enemies into allies for a brief period. This can help redirect enemies' attention onto the controlled enemy, or to help defeat other enemies.

But, the controlled enemy is only confused for a small amount of time. Considering this, players will want to get the Addled Mind skill, which is one of the best upgrades they can get. Addled Mind can be purchased for 1 Skill Point. With it, enemies under Confusion will be controlled for a longer period of time.

6 Confounded Mind

Addled Mind is the first Force Confusion skill that players will purchase on the skill tree. After Addled Mind, players have a lot of options for spending their Skill Points. For players who are looking to increase the amount of time enemies are controlled even more, Confounded Mind is the next step.

Confounded Mind is right above Addled Mind, and can be acquired for 2 Skill Points. It essentially has the same effect as Addled Mind, but stronger. Once equipped, enemies will be under Cal's Confusion influence for an even greater amount of time.

5 Greater Confusion

the greater confusion skill

Greater Confusion is the next step after Addled Mind, as it is a prerequisite for Cal to access other Confusion skills. Greater Confusion can be found on the Confusion skill tree and purchased for only 1 Skill Point.

After the Greater Confusion skill has been purchased, players will be able to use Force Confusion on an additional enemy. This means that Cal will be able to Jedi mind-control two different enemies at once, making it easier to fight against groups.

4 Superior Confusion

Superior Confusion is the next level after Greater Confusion, meaning players will have to obtain Greater Confusion before attempting to get Superior Confusion. Once the prerequisites have been obtained, Superior Confusion can be purchased for 2 Skill Points. It's recommended that players use a certain method to level up much faster in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor so that they receive Skill Points more often.

Superior Confusion will allow Cal to use Force Confusion on enemies that are otherwise resistant. This will only work on humanoid enemies though, so mainly Imperials. This helps Confusion maintain its usefulness within combat.

3 Confusion Mastery

Confusion Mastery is usually the last Confusion skill that players will purchase, as it is at the top of the Confusion skill tree. Confusion Mastery can be obtained for 2 Skill Points after players have obtained Superior Confusion.

With the Confusion Mastery skill, players will be able to use Force Confusion on even more Confusion-resistant enemies. For example, Confusion Mastery will allow Cal to mind-control Purge Troopers, which are frequent in the game's several chapters.

2 Amplification

the amplification skill

Many of the enemies that Cal can Jedi mind-controlled in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor aren't very practical in terms of taking out other enemies; rather, controlling them is only useful for crowd control means. That's because most enemies that can be hit with Confusion don't deal a lot of damage.

Luckily, players can acquire the Amplification skill on the Confusion skill tree for 2 Skill Points. Amplification will allow enemies under Confusion to deal more damage.

1 Redirected Strength

the redirected strength skill

The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailers showcased many of Cal's new Force abilities, one of which was the ability to force enemies to fire at one another while holding them. To obtain this ability, players will have to spend 2 Skill Points, which carry over in New Game Plus, on the Redirected Strength skill in the Confusion skill tree.

To obtain this skill, players must first purchase the Greater Confusion skill. Redirected Strength will allow players to pull an enemy and hold additional inputs to force the enemy to fire their weapon at others.
