Unlike the previous game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is home to several unique side quests that Cal can pursue while progressing through the main campaign. The Check on The Jawa Settlement Rumor tasks players with backtracking to the Bygone Settlement on Koboh, but completing it requires Cal to have obtained the Force Dash ability beforehand.

The Check on the Jawa Settlement Rumor in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Cal will unlock the Check on the Jawa Settlement Rumor during his third visit to Koboh by speaking with the Prospector leaning against the wall next to the entrance of Pyloon's Saloon. During the conversation, the Prospector will remark that the Jawas haven't been seen for a while, prompting Cal to search for them himself.

Players will pass through the area where the Jawas have settled shortly after visiting the Forest Array during Cal's first visit to Koboh, but they won't be able to reach the Jawas due to the vent blocking the way forward. During their third visit, however, after acquiring the Force Dash ability on Jedha, Cal will be able to leap through the steam coming from the vent to reach a new area.
