Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows Cal Kestis on his quest to find a safe-haven for those who are being hunted by the Empire. The campaign requires him to visit various planets and defeat powerful enemies, but players will also have several chances to pursue optional content along the way.
Unlike the previous title, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is chock-full of side quests. These optional missions are known as Rumors, and they can be started by speaking with the NPC associated with them or by exploring each world and stumbling upon the quest itself. The Rumor - Help Zygg in the Swamp is one of the shorter Rumors available, but it can be a little challenging to complete.
How To Start The Help Zygg In The Swamp Rumor In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
After Cal returns the Contact Codes to Cere on Jedha, he will return to Koboh, where he will have access to a series of new Rumors. To begin the Help Zygg in the Swamp Rumor, he must enter Pyloon's Saloon and speak with Monk behind the bar, who will then point Cal in the direction of the Viscid Bog.
Players who have yet to reach the Viscid Bog will need to fast-travel to the Devastated Settlement Meditation Point and use the Relter on the ledge next to the waterfall to travel back to the green laser barrier. Using Cal's ability to warp through laser doors, the player can then continue into the next area, where they will find another Relter.
Cal can then use this Relter to glide over the geyser below to reach a new area, where he can find a hut with two NPCs talking inside.
Speaking with Zygg, she will inform Cal that she ventured to the Viscid Bog in search of Zee, but now that she has found Wini, she wishes to help her. Wini has lost her Datapad and will not leave until she finds it. After the conversation, Cal will need to look for it, but unless players have already found Zee in the Lucrehulk, he won't have the ability needed to reach it.
How To Find Wini's Datapad In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Wini's Datapad can actually be found on top of the large stone pillar just outside the hut, but Cal won't be able to reach it unless he has unlocked the Force Lift ability. If players plan to complete this Rumor during their first visit to Viscid Bog, they will need to progress the story a bit more until Cal learns the ability naturally.
Once Cal can use Force Lift, he can return to the hut and use the ability to raise the stone platform in the tar below. This will cause the platform to ascend, allowing Cal to leap to the climbable grate that appears on its side.
He will then need to climb to the right-hand side of the pillar before climbing up, where he can leap to the grate on the other, slightly taller pillar to climb up.
While standing on top of this pillar, Cal can interact with the flashing blue square on the ground to find Wini's Datapad.
How To Complete The Help Zygg In The Swamp Rumor In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Once Cal obtains the Datapad, he can return to Wini and speak with her in the hut once more. Wini will then remark that the Datapad has been destroyed before Zygg offers to repair it back at Pyloon's Saloon.
When the conversation ends, Wini will be recruited and will thus become a permanent resident back at the bar.
