Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows Cal Kestis during his second journey across the galaxy. Like in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, he is still fixated on fighting the Empire, but he must also face a new, equally threatening group known as the Bedlam Raiders from time to time. He runs into this group during his first visit to Koboh, shortly before meeting the people whose lives they threaten.

Arriving at Koboh and speaking to Moran won't unlock the Rumor unless Cal has already visited the Forest Array and gained access to the chamber inside. Once this has been done, returning to Pyloon's Saloon and speaking to Moran will prompt him to discuss the Locate the Odd Pair Rumor before asking Cal to investigate.

A marker depicting the location of the Odd Pair will then appear on the map, but reaching them can be a little tricky, especially if players forget to make use of the Nekko mounts on their way there.

After speaking to Moran in Pyloon's Saloon, Cal will need to head to the Boiling Bluff region to find the Odd Pair. Seeing as he doesn't visit this area as part of the story, it can be a little tricky to locate; players who have already interacted with the Boiling Bluff Meditation Point can easily fast-travel there, but those who have not will have to make the journey on foot.

Leaving Pyloon's Saloon through the front exit, Cal should turn left and head passed the Stables toward the Untamed Downs. A Nekko is needed for when Cal eventually reaches the Boiling Bluff, so players can feel free to take one from the Stables on their way.

He will then need to defeat the Mogu, as the Odd Pair will not speak while the beast is roaming the area. Before initiating the battle, players should interact with the Boiling Bluff Meditation Point to save the game.

Once the Mogu has been felled, Cal can climb the nearby rock overlooking the ravine to interact with the Odd Pair, who will then introduce themselves as Tulli Mu and Bhima Ook. After a short conversation, Cal will recruit them, and they will both become permanent residents at Pyloon's Saloon, where they can be interacted with to initiate the Holotactics minigame.
