Part of the fun in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the myriad possibilities that can be found on the many planets that make up Cal Kestis' adventure. By discovering new abilities and equipment, the Jedi Knight becomes more adept at navigating the various spaces, and uncovering secrets and treasures that make the playthrough even more fun.
The desert planet of Jedha is one such location, full of hidden things just waiting to be discovered by the intrepid explorer. While the game does provide some help in finding collectibles, it can still be a hard task without some actual guidance. By obtaining all the Force Essence Crystals on Jedha, Cal will earn plenty of skill points and more perks to be part of his arsenal. This will make combat and exploration that much easier. Here are all the locations of Force Essences on Jedha in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
The Archive
There are 11 collectibles in The Archive, with two essences to be found.
- First, locate the green barrier that can only be crossed using Merrin's Charm. From the chest, get to higher ground and follow the path around the ledge. Dash once more across the gaps to find a Skill Point Essence.
- Only possible after obtaining the Upgraded Ascension Cable, use the balloon located centrally in The Archives to leap to a ledge just northwest when facing Sister Taske's to find a Force Essence.
Monastery Walls
There are a total of 19 collectibles on the Monastery Walls. From that collection, there are two Force Essences in the mix.
- Starting from the Workbench, climb up the nearby pillars and reach a section that Cal can wall-run off. Eventually, this path will lead to a Force Essence that increases his health.
- From the first Force Essence, turn around and use the pillars as steps, keep jumping them and reach a wall-run section on the left. Descend and find the Force Essence at the end of the path.
Penitent Chambers
There are a total of 5 collectibles in the Penitent Chambers, with only one Force Essence to be obtained. It's best to grab this one during the story, where players will be nearing the end of the area with a grappling point at the end of an elevated path. A nearby chest that contains the Nocular Body for BD-1 is the key, with the Force Essence just opposite of it after Cal uses the wall for some parkour.
Halls of Ranvell
There are a total of 10 collectibles in the Halls of Ranvell. Two of them happen to be useful Force Essences.
- From the Meditation Point, look for a ledge to get lower and to a wall-run section. Use it to get to the next area, where the Force Essence is situated at the top.
- After following Merrin during the story through a sequence with both wall-running and climbing, do not proceed forward at the top. Instead, look down and get to a ledge below, and follow the path to the edge. A ledge here holds the Force Essence.
Desert Ridge
There are a total of 9 collectibles in the Desert Ridge area of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and it is home to one Force Essence. Here, players can complete the Rumor about the Golden Skriton, a Legendary Adversary that can be very aggressive and dangerous. Look for the narrow pathway to a larger area, and defeat the creature to find the Force Essence tucked away in the arena.
Path of Restoration
A total of 5 collectibles can be found at the Path of Restoration on Jedha. The lone Force Essence here will require some Force manipulation to get to. Players must complete the ball puzzle that is part of the Path of Restoration. After sending the metal ball to the top. Finish the trial to uncover a nearby staircase, which will contain the Force Essence that adds a new Perk Slot for Cal.
Arid Flats
There are a total of 24 collectibles in the Arid Flats, and there are three essences that are up for grabs in this particular area.
- Head to the Anchorite Base Meditation Point in the area, and go to the caves by keeping to the left, where a Suteban can be fought. After defeating the beast, find the Force Essence on the nearby ledge.
- With the Dash ability, Cal can proceed to ascend the structure near the Anchorite Base Meditation Point. Use Dash to reach the top, talk to the NPC here and use the Force to have them open the door with the Force Essence inside.
- At the top of the Wayfinder's Tomb, from there, use the balloon to cross a broken bridge, where a Force Essence can be found at the end.
Path of Persistence
5 collectibles can be found at the Path of Persistence, with one Force Essence located in the area. To gain access to the Force Essence (which adds a Perk Slot), players must complete the ball puzzle. After this, the staircase will open up and present the final prize.
Path of Conviction
The Path of Conviction is home to 4 collectibles, with another Force Essence awaiting the intrepid explorer. Just like at the Path of Restoration and Persistence, finish up the puzzle and get to the top to claim the Force Essence for Cal.
Narkis Highlands
There are 5 collectibles to be found in the Narkis Highlands. Of these, two will be Force Essences that can help Cal on his journey.
- From the Arid Flats region, locate the zipline and get across, before using another subsequent zipline on the right. Finally, reach the Force Essence by dashing and getting up the wall.
- At the encounter where players will go up against the Skriton enemy. Use the nearby balloon to get to a grappling point on the wall. Follow that up by wall-running and getting to the end with some well-timed jumps. Here, players will find a Force Essence that grants more XP.
Crypt of Uhrma
A total of 5 collectibles can be found in the Crypt of Uhrma, and one of them happens to be a useful Force Essence. After solving the puzzle of the Crypt of Uhrma, a new area will open up for players to explore. This includes a Stim Upgrade for BD-1, but follow the path to the end, and a boss fight with the Suteban Alpha will occur. Defeat it, and the Force Essence can be found in the same arena.
Sanctuary Temple
Of 6 collectibles in the Sanctuary Temple, only one is a Force Essence. It's an easy find compared to most valuables. From the Workbench in the area, locate the green laser barrier. Dash through it with the help of Merrin's Charm, and a Force Essence will be in plain sight.
