A backwater planet on the galactic frontier, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Koboh is a verdant and mountainous biosphere with an abundant wildlife population. With many secrets hidden in its lush depths, tracking down all the Essences in the Dredger Gorge can prove tricky.
This guide will shepherd players through the opening locations, explaining where to find all the Essences in the Gorge Crash Site, the Derelict Dam, and the Winding Ravine on Koboh in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Gorge Crash Site
This opening area of Koboh has one essence that can be claimed after acquiring the Force Lift ability.
Essence 1 of 1 – Skill Point (Requires Force Lift)
Help the Pit Droid lift their skiff from the tar pools, uphill from the Derelict Dam Meditation Point.
Derelict Dam
Further through the Gorge, this area has five essences that can strengthen Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Cal Kestis.
Essence 1 of 5 – Health
Taking the path behind the Derelict Dam Meditation Point, head to the Gorocco Nest and scale a ledge to find this Health Essence inside a cave.
Essence 2 of 5 – Skill Point
Dropping down from the Meditation Point towards the tar pit, keep following the shore until coming upon a large chasm. Use Force Pull to grab the rope dangling over it and wall run repeatedly to reach the ledge on the far side of the hole. Upon landing, grab the essence on the left to gain a skill point.
Essence 3 of 5 – Force
After unlocking the shortcut back to the Meditation Point, lead the Roller Mine to the rightmost elevator in this area and launch the Mine at the tar wall. Head through the blast zone and kill the Gorocco, taking the rope up at the base of the giant creature bones databank entry. Next, jump onto the ledge at the top and deal with the Droids and Roller Mines up here. Cross the archway to find this essence beside the elevator.
Essence 4 of 5 – Perk Slot (Requires Force Slam)
Using Force Slam on the elevator by the Trontoshell, climb the ledge and deal with the Raiders and Droids. Retrieve an Orb from around the corner, guarded by a Droideka, and take it to the coupler on the yellow rig in the tar to burn away the nearby Koboh Matter. Use BD to slice open a terminal behind the vines and repeatedly Force Push a Roller Mine through the air to destroy a tar wall across the chasm. Next, use the Koboh Grinder to trace a path from the beam to the Koboh Matter blocking the path upward. Finally, traverse the walls to reach an upper walkway and grab this essence.
Essence 5 of 5 – Skill Point (Requires Upgraded Ascension Cable)
From where players fight the Gorocco Matriarch – behind the Force Lift door at the top of the rightmost elevator from the Derelict Dam Meditation Point – use the Upgraded Ascension Cable to reach a cliff. This essence is by the cliff overlooking the Gorge Crash Site.
Winding Ravine (Requires Confusion: Mega Fauna)
This area, accessed by solving the secret of Dredger Gorge, has one essence for players to grab.
Essence 1 of 1 – Force
In the Ravine, take the path on the left and clear the area of Gorgers. Moving the box to reach a ledge, wall run to find another box atop a cliff. Push it down and stack both boxes to reach the cave where this essence is found.
