Spoiler Alert! This guide contains major spoilers for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's late-game story content. When it comes to lightsaber customization, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up and expands on everything its predecessor established. 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gave its protagonist Cal Kestis a remarkable amount of freedom in choosing how to personalize his lightsaber. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor continues this mechanic, offering up even more options for the Jedi Knight to pick from.

Cal acquires most of his lightsaber customization options by looting chests in the wild or purchasing them from the game's various merchants. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor also features a new chest type, which contains all pieces to a single legendary item. While these chests can contain unique Blaster and BD-1 skins, it is the chance to find complete lightsabers that make them truly exciting. It is in one of these chests that Cal will find Cere Junda's lightsaber, allowing him to wield his master's one-of-a-kind weapon against raiders and Stormtroopers alike.

In order to acquire Cere Junda's lightsaber, Cal must make it to a specific point in Survivor's main story. Players who unlocked Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's chest-revealing map upgrade will notice what appears to be a missing chest in Cere's archive. Luckily for Cal, this chest isn't missing, it is simply locked behind story progression.

The next section of the guide contains a massive spoiler for anyone who has not played beyond Chapter 5's "Compass Acquired." Players wishing to avoid spoilers should proceed with caution.

At the end of Chapter 5's third mission, 'Betrayal," the player will be given control of Cere Junda. In this section, Cere will battle with Star Wars' most iconic villain, coming as close as anyone outside the core group of heroes has ever come to defeating him. This fight is one of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's most difficult encounters, and when it is over, players will understand why Cere's lightsaber becomes available.

When Cal becomes playable again and the Archive can be visited, he will find Cere's lightsaber resting among the ruins of her life's work.

When Cal returns to the Archive after "Siege," he must head to the Veiled Hanger, where the Mantis is docked. Open the chamber door using Push or Pull on the small ball, just as always. This time, however, when Cal enters the chamber, there will be a legendary chest sitting directly in front of him. This chest contains Cere's lightsaber.

Cal will now be able to use each part at the workbench to create his own unique saber, or he can simply use all the pieces and take his master's lightsaber into battle. Along with Cere Junda's lightsaber, Cal can also collect Eno Cordova's legendary blade at the Wayfinder's Tomb in the Jedha Desert.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
