The latest entry in Resoawn Entertainment's popular Star Wars franchise has finally launched. The former Jedi Cal Kestis returns in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a little older and wiser as he attempts to find his place in the galaxy while continuing to try and elude the Galactic Empire. Unfortunately for fans, especially those on PC, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched with a number of technical issues which has led many fans to review bomb the game.
While Respawn continues to work and issue updates to correct the problems, reviewers and fans alike have praised Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for the many improvements made to the experience, many of which fix some of the lesser enjoyed features from its predecessor. Maps have been made larger and more open and as such, Respawn has enabled fast traveling and ridable mounts to help fans get around these spaces much faster and easier.
One area where Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has really improved is with its customization options for Cal. Players can change everything from his hairstyle and lightsaber appearance to even more extensive clothing options. One such option is known as the Hermit Cosmetic and here is how players can obtain it.
What is the Hermit Outfit in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?
According to the outfit description, the Hermit Outfit in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is part of the Jedi Survival cosmetic pack. Players get access to the Obi-Wan Kenobi inspired Hermit cosmetic outfit and matching lightsaber set, which was also modeled after Obi-Wan's gear. Finally, players can also add the Combustion blaster customization option as well.
How to Unlock the Hermit Outfit in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a wealth of new outfit options for Cal besides his classic poncho look. In fact, players will likely be searching high and low through the various planets in game for chests that unlock more styles. In fact, some players have even used these extensive cosmetic options to model Cal after iconic Star Wars characters.
Unfortunately, a few outfits are exclusive to Deluxe or Pre-Ordered versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This includes the Jedi Survival Cosmetic pack, which was initially only available to anyone who pre-ordered any version of the game prior to its launch on April 28. As of right now, there doesn't appear to be an alternative method for unlocking the Jedi Survivor, Galactic Hero, or New Hero cosmetic packs, making them highly exclusive. Still, it's possible these items could appear down the road, as Respawn released a one year anniversary update for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which brought new combat challenges and cosmetics to the game.
