The journey of Cal Kestis from aspiring Padawan to a Jedi Knight has not been easy, and throughout Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, he will continue to face lots of challenges thanks to the interference of the Empire and local troublemakers. Armed with his lightsaber and mastery of the Force, Cal can more than hold his own against the enemy, but some help is always welcomed.

The way players can progress in making Cal a better fighter is through the use of skill points, which can then be invested in various skill trees to make the fight slightly easier. However, combat alone makes it a slow process, but that's where the Force Tears come into play. Completing these combat or platforming challenges will provide an instant XP boost, so for those needing some help to find them, here's a guide to all Force Tear locations in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

What are Force Tears?

What are Force Tears

There is a total of 15 Force Tears that can be found in the game, and they are denoted by glowing purple orbs that look like a tear in the fabric of reality. Approaching them will see the screen darken, and upon interacting with them, Cal and BD-1 are transported to another space to engage in a challenge.

This could be combat under certain restrictions or a platforming challenge that makes use of most of the skills available. Completing them will reward Cal with significant XP, making more skill points available for players to spend.

All Force Tear Locations in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Koboh

Koboh Force Tear
  • Fractured Momentum - Found in the Smuggler's Tunnel, use Merrin's Charm to go past the laser barrier to a wall run and then through another gate, where the Force Tear is. Complete the platforming challenge to gain the XP.
  • Fractured Delusion - In the Hunter's Quarry, go behind Doma's Outpost Commodities and climb the vines before using the balloons to get to a wall which then leads to a cave. Simply defeat all enemies to claim the prize.
  • Fractured Duality - Once the first rooftop garden plot is fully grown at Pyloon's Saloon, the tower on the roof becomes accessible. Climb up and find the Force Tear at the top. This requires defeating all enemies using the Double-Bladed stance.
  • Fractured History - This only becomes available after players defeat the Spawn of Oggdo, which can be found in Fort Kah'Lin. Now, head back to Doma's and interact with the creature next to her, which will make the Force Tear appear. The fight will be against two Spawns of Oggdo, so use the same strategy and watch out for danger from the other combatant.
  • Fractured Resolve - Progress towards the Forest Array will bring players to Swindler's Wash. Go beyond the first waterfall to find this Force Tear, which is an easy enough platforming challenge.
  • Fractured Punishment - Part of the Stone Spires area; once all geysers have been activated, use the Relter to gain height by flying through all three updrafts. Then land at the platform to the side with a partially revealed golden cube to find the Force Tear. Battle against three Rawka and two Sutaban to complete the challenge.
  • Fractured Power - Go to the Fogged Expanse and head towards Marl Cavern before using the balloons to get to the end with the Force Tear. Defeat all opponents using the Crossguard stance to claim victory.
  • Fractured Agility - Head to the Boiling Bluff and use the Upgraded Ascension Cable to navigate using the balloons. At the end, interact with the giant bird-like creature who will teleport Cal to a new area in the Derelict Dam. Find the Force Tear at the back, which will be a platforming challenge requiring quick reflexes and the use of the same balloons.
  • Fractured Burden - Located at the Gorge Crash Site, step onto the elevator near the fast travel point and get off immediately. Lift the plate to find the Force Tear, where players will have to defeat three of the gigantic local wildlife. As usual, focus on one first to reduce the number of enemies and learn when to dodge.

Jedha

  • Fractured Tradition - Start at the Monastery Walls before heading left and going up the hill. Start the slide and grapple to the next platform before performing some short jumps across the top of the pillars to get to this Force Tear. Defeat all Bedlam Raiders using just the Single stance.
  • Fractured Determination - Easily found in the Desert Ridge, it will be in one of the open paths near the Anchorite Base Meditation Point. This is a platforming challenge that requires deft use of Merrin's Charm and the dash to get past green laser gates.
  • Fractured Dexterity - At the Crypt of Uhrma, keep going up the stairs and at the room with just the Stormtroopers, start to run along the wall into an area with blustery winds, and go left. Defeat all enemies using the Dual Wield stance to finish things.
  • Fractured Cunning - Located at the Timeworn Bridge, head up and out to find a cliff to the right. Get through the crack here and then go left past the door. Follow that up by climbing the wall and dash through the green barrier for the Force Tear. This requires beating everything in sight with the Blaster stance.

Shattered Moon

  • Fractured Endurance - Go to the Automated Forge and follow the path forward until grates with running electricity can be seen. Head up to the peak and then wall-run to a protruding pole to swing across. The challenge requires the player to defeat 150 B1 Battle Droids, so make sure not to be overwhelmed and fight defensively if need be.

Coruscant

  • Fractured Malice - Found near the Rooftops Meditation Point. Find an alternate path via the pipes and use Force Lift to open up a door that blocks the Force Tear. The challenge is to defeat two Rancors, so make sure to focus on one to even the odds as soon as possible.

Finishing all 15 Force Tears will also net players a brand-new achievement and trophy in the form of Blood, Sweat, And Tears, not to mention all that sweet XP for more skill upgrades.
