There are certainly plenty of secret treasures and areas in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that will only open up once Cal Kestis has all the required abilities. After all, this is a Metroidvania experience that just so happens to have a coat of Star Wars paint splattered generously all over it. However, sometimes, it is not just about using the Force in order to get to something; for Cal, his mouth can always be a useful tool too.
This is especially so on the planet of Koboh, where the Jedi Knight is able to make friends and allies join the cause simply by doing an act of kindness and speaking to them. For those who are scratching their heads wondering just how to open the locked door in Pyloon's Saloon in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, let this guide show the way.
How to Open the Locked Door in Pyloon's Saloon
As already alluded to, there is no amount of Force powers or lightsaber cutting that will allow Cal Kestis into this locked backroom in the cantina. The only way to do so is to be friendly to the locals, particularly one that has a shady past in the art of smuggling. Among the many various recruits that can join Rambler's Reach, Moran can already be found in Pyloon's Saloon, sitting at the corner just beside the door to the kitchen.
The blue-skinned individual will take some convincing to become Cal's friend of sorts, especially when things get off on the wrong foot when he blames the Jedi for causing trouble with the Bedlam Raiders. However, keep talking to him, and Moran will eventually warm up.
Players will be unable to have more than one unique conversation each time they visit the saloon, so the trick is to head out to another region, either on foot or fast travel, before trying to engage Moran once again. In total, it will take about seven conversations before Moran is willing to apologize for his behavior before opening up access to the room.
Head to the now unlocked backroom and obtain the prize that is the Eerin Siinaa music track. This track can be played by the bar's DJ. BD-1 will also be able to scan Moran's possessions for a Databank Entry.
