Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows Cal Kestis on his quest to find a home for himself and his friends. Like with his previous journey, the Empire is hot on his trail, but that doesn’t mean players don’t have time to pursue optional content while progressing the main story.

During Cal’s first visit to Koboh in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players can stumble upon a sealed door in the Derelict Dam. Approaching this door will cause a voice to echo from within, encouraging Cal to take the treasure in the room he is standing in. Vashtan Wolfe is the source of this mysterious voice, but players will not meet him properly until Cal has unlocked the Electro Dart ability for BD-1.

After fast-traveling to the Derelict Dam Meditation Point, Cal should proceed forward into the wide-open area, turn left, and enter the building with the Roller Mine spawner.

Eventually, he will have the option to grapple through the opening in the ceiling, where he will then need to continue moving forward before turning left and entering the large circular room.

At the far end of this room is the door leading to Vashtan Wolfe’s lair, but players won’t be able to get inside. Instead, by firing an Electro Dart at the electrical device on the right, players can open the glowing green chest next to the room’s entrance to obtain the Two-Tone Metal Weapon Material, which will then cause Vashtan to emerge.

The Electro Dart is needed to open the treasure chest outside Vashtan Wolfe's door, but Cal won't acquire it until he visits the Fogged Expanse on Koboh during the Climb Mountain to Observatory main quest.

How To Beat Vashtan Wolfe In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Hoping Cal would take the bait and open the chests in the room, Vashtan will attack the Jedi Knight in the hope of claiming the treasure for himself. He fights with a Lightsaber and a blaster, so players will need to stay on the defensive for most of the battle to avoid taking damage and wasting Cal’s Stims.

To make matters worse, Vashtan will often turn invisible if players fail to deal consistent damage to him; a great way to render him visible is to use Force Push, as he cannot parry the ability.

Parrying Vashtan’s Lightsaber attacks isn’t overly difficult as he isn’t particularly quick, but the same cannot be said for his skills with a blaster. Whenever he is far enough away, he will draw his blaster and begin rapidly firing at Cal. To avoid getting struck, players should guard whenever Vashtan is standing out of reach of Cal’s Lightsaber.

Vashtan will also throw grenades at Cal from time to time, but they can easily be thrown back thanks to the Force Push Ability. So long as players are guarding whenever Vashtan is out of reach and parrying as often as possible, this mysterious foe should go down with relative ease.

Once the battle is over, Cal can walk up to the electrical device on the right-hand side of the room and open the chest containing the Anodized Metal BD-1 Material if he hasn’t already. A Priorite Shard can also be found in the unlit fire pit next to Vashtan Wolfe’s door.

Sadly, there is no way to open the door Vashtan Wolfe was hiding behind, so once players have bested him and acquired the nearby treasures, they will have obtained everything this area has to offer.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
