Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features a wide range of side activities for Cal Kestis to engage in when not working his way through the game's main story. Some of these activities are expanded versions of content found in Survivor's predecessor, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. But Star Wars Jedi: Survivor also includes an impressive amount of completely side quests, all of which feel at home in the unique world of the Star Wars universe.
One of these new activities is the quest to fill an Aquarium. Along with Skoova Stev, a new character created for Survivor, Cal will scour each world he visits looking for multiple species of fish to bring back to Ramber's Reach. And while this type of content can feel redundant and skippable in lesser games, Survivor turns it into a uniquely engaging series of conversations that has Cal excited every time he finds a new body of water. This guide will explain how to begin this journey by unlocking access to the aquarium.
How to Unlock the Aquarium in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The Aquarium in Pyloon's Saloon is a feature that will be available to Cal once he reaches Rambler's Reach and interacts with Greez for the first time in Survivor. However, before Cal can actually access the large fish tank, he must first recruit someone to maintain it. This is where Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's rumor system comes into play.
When Cal first enters Pyloon's Saloon, he will find various patrons tucked away in the establishments nooks and crannies. Speaking to each individual inside the saloon - as well as many outside in Rambler's Reach - will begin to open up multiple rumor missions. Cal will be tasked with finding everything from lost travelers to a music-playing droid. Eventually, Cal will receive a rumor quest that asks him to "Recruit the Mysterious Fisherman." This will lead Cal to Skoova Stev.
Where to Find Skoova Stev
Head to Foothill Falls:
Skoova can be found in the Foothill Falls region, not far from Pyloon's Saloon. The rumor marker will lead to a pool of water where Skoova Stev is preparing to take a dive. At first, Skoova's 'ship' will look like just another piece of Star Wars junk, but upon closer inspection, Cal will discover that the Mysterious Fisherman is a tiny species with an equally tiny boat.
Speaking with Skoova Stev will eventually lead to his recruitment. This first interaction will result in the acquisition of the See Fish, which will be Cal's first addition to Pyloon's aquarium. Cal will then come across Skoova in various places throughout the game, culminating in the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor 'Skoova Diving' trophy/achievement.
Head upstairs at Pyloon's Saloon to interact with the aquarium at any time. Note that as more fish enter the aquarium, the cleaner it gets.
