Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is full of content that will occupy gamers for hours. The main story can take up to 20 hours, and that is calculated while ignoring side content. But, there are other activities that players can take part in rather than flying through Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's various campaign chapters.

One such activity is Holotactics. Holotactics is a popular tabletop game in the Star Wars world. Players in Holotactics will use real-life creatures and enemies to engage in combat. In Star War Jedi: Survivor, players will be able to use their BD-1 enemy scans as units in Holotactics, which can be found at Pyloon's Saloon on the planet Koboh.

10 Rocket Launcher Trooper

The Empire's troops aren't too capable in battle when it comes to Holotactics, as their aim is about as good as their aim in the franchise's films. Luckily, The Rocket Launcher Trooper gives the Empire a fighting chance in the tabletop game.

The Rocket Launcher Trooper will only cost players 6 Battle Points. Though their reload time is fairly slow, one rocket from the Rocket Launcher Trooper is capable of taking out many of the game's enemies in 1 to 2 shots, making the trooper a great asset on the battlefield, even against the pros.

9 Bedlam Smasher

the bedlam smasher

The Bedlam Smasher is an enemy that Cal Kestis doesn't encounter for a while throughout the game's main campaign chapters. The Bedlam Smasher is a large enemy that is capable of destructive and massive melee attacks, but the attacks are incredibly slow.

Despite this, Bedlam Smasher is a great Holotactics unit as the ally can take out many other units with a single AOE attack. Bedlam Smasher will cost players 14 Battle Points in order for the Bedlam Raider to be played.

8 Purge Trooper Commander

Ranged Holotactics units aren't the most formidable foes in Holotactics, but there are a select few that do quite well against other enemies. One such unit for gamers to make use of is the Purge Trooper Commander.

The Purge Trooper Commander will only cost players 10 Battle Points to be played. The Purge Trooper Commander utilizes a blaster rifle that deals fairly good damage, especially when paired with the many other ranged attacks that the Purge Trooper Commander is capable of.

7 Mogu

Though there aren't any ranged units within the Holotactics fauna section, the fauna units are incredible choices when it comes to Holotactics. Mogu is one of the best choices for Holotactics. But, in order for players to use the unit in the tabletop game, they will have to spend 16 Battle Points.

Though it is quite expensive, Mogu has a lot of health, making it a tank of sorts. Mogu is also capable of large AOE attacks that can quickly take out smaller units, like troopers. Mogu can easily be overwhelmed though, so pairing the creature with other melee units is ideal.

6 AT-ST

an AT-ST (databank)

The AT-ST is one of the most expensive units in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's Holotactics game mode. Some players may think that its price means the unit is extremely powerful in Holotactics, but it falls pretty short in a fight with multiple enemies.

Though it is expensive (25 Battle Points), the AT-ST does pack a heavy punch in Holotactics. It's important for the AT-ST to be played smartly in the case of multiple ranged enemies, or 1-2 melee enemies. That way, the AT-ST can perform flawlessly.

5 DT Sentry Droid (Hammer & Missiles)

Ranged units in Holotactics aren't the best way to win, as they tend to miss their shots, but melee units almost always get their hits in. That fact makes the DT Sentry Droids an amazing asset in the Holotactics game. More specifically, the DT Sentry Droid that uses a hammer and missiles is one of the best choices for a Holotactics battle.

The DT Sentry Droid (Hammer & Missiles) will cost gamers 10 Battle Points. While being useful in terms of melee damage output, the DT Sentry Droid can also take care of ranged enemies with powerful missiles.

4 Magnaguard

The Bedlam Raiders arguably have some of the best melee characters in the game, especially over the Empire, and that shows in Holotactics. Magnaguard is one such melee unit that executes enemies with ease.

The Magnaguard will cost players only 8 Battle Points, which means that players will be able to sprinkle the battlefield with Magnaguard units in Holotactics matches with a lot of Battle Points. The Magnaguard utilizes quick, successive, and high-damage melee attacks.

3 Sutaban Alpha

Though bosses or specific characters can't be used in Holotactics, the Sutaban Alpha is an exception. The Sutaban Alpha is a beastly boss that can quickly overwhelm other enemies. Seeing how ferocious the boss fight with the Sutaban Alpha was, one can only assume how deadly the Sutaban Alpha would be in a Holotactics match.

The Sutaba Alpha will cost Cal only 10 Battle Points. This fauna unit is capable of swiping away at enemies with threatening ease, and even more capable of taking out units in a wide area.

2 Droideka

the droideka databank entry

The Droideka is another droid opponent that Cal Kestis won't encounter until later in the game's story, which will test Cal's combat skills. After BD-1 is able to scan a defeated Droideka, players will be able to use the droid in Holotactics, which will cost them 12 Battle Points.

The Droideka is one of the best ranged-attack units in Holotactics, as it is capable of rolling itself away from danger. Not only that, but the Droideka also has a shield it can put up to defend itself from ranged attacks, like Troopers' blasters.

1 Scriton

the scriton databank entry

Though there is debate out there as to what the best unit for Holotactics is, the Scriton is considerably the best. The Scriton is a large scorpion-like creature that is capable of devastating melee blows, as well as withholding an incredibly large pool of health.

The Scriton may cost players a whopping 20 Battle Points, but once the creature is on the battlefield, players won't need any help. The Scriton is even capable of 'soloing' many of the game's Holotactics opponents, giving Cal leftover Battle Points to spend for the next battle.
