Numen Skills are the last tier of Slayer Skills players will unlock in Dead Island 2. Plenty of people that are playing Dead Island 2 have probably been wondering when they'll finally unlock these Skills, as they'll get tons of every other category but 0 Numen Cards.

Well, to gain access to these Cards, players will need to get to the end of the 21st Story Quest, The Search for Truth. Not to spoil too much, but at the end, the player character learns the truth of the Zompocalypse and goes through a metamorphosis of sorts. But, once the first Card is unlocked, how are players supposed to get the rest?

What Are Numen Skills?

Let's take a quick step back before elaborating on how to find more of these Cards by going over what exactly Numen Skills are. There's no consistent 'theme' among them in terms of what they do, but all of them are Skills that massively modify certain mechanics of Dead Island 2. For example, Corpse Blossom makes it infinitely more fun to use Elemental Damage, Glass Cannon is great for characters like Bruno, and Born Survivor makes it almost impossible for players to be killed.

After getting their first Numen Skill at the end of The Search for Truth, players will find the others as rewards for other Quests, with only one of them being found in a specific spot out in the world. That said, the first Numen Skill players start with after their brief conversation with Lola Konradt at the end of this Story Quest changes based on the Slayer they're using, which is one of the rare few mechanical differences between the Slayers:

Survivor Name

Starting Numen Skill

Jacob

Anger Mismanagement

Danny

Anger Mismanagement

Carla

Born Survivor

Ryan

Born Survivor

Amy

Glass Cannon

Bruno

Glass Cannon

The default Numen Skills (not including Corpse Blossom or Seismic Stomp) are split evenly across the 6 Slayers in the game, with every pair of two characters starting with something different. Now some might be asking 'Well if I play Amy, what would I get for a reward at the end of the Quest that would normally give Glass Cannon?'

To elaborate a bit more, Dani starts with Anger Mismanagement, but Amy doesn't. So while Dani would get the Glass Cannon Card as a reward from the Side Quest The Art of War, Amy would get Anger Mismanagement. Basically, whatever Numen a player's character starts with, just assume they'll get Anger Mismanagement where they would typically get their default Numen.

Where To Unlock The Rest

As for the rest of the Numen Skills, they're all unlocked either very close to the end of the Main Story or in the Side Quests that only become available after completing the story. Here's where to find each one:

Numen Card
