As players traverse the many locales that can be found in Dead Island 2, a constant companion is that of the undead horde. Shamblers, Walkers, and all the other more terrifying variants are always ready to take a bite out of an unsuspecting Slayer, and in large numbers, that can easily lead to a death or two.

Thankfully, Dead Island 2 players have every means to fight back, whether through the various customizable weapons at their disposal or using the environment. However, there will definitely be instances where damage cannot be avoided, and not being in optimal health is a dangerous situation to be in. How to Heal in Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 How to Heal Med Kit

Unlike the zombies, it is vital that players keep their health up in the game, as a group of flesh-eating monsters can make quick work of anyone unprepared. Should any Slayer find themselves bleeding out or just want to make sure they are ready for whatever comes next, using a Med Kit to heal is the easiest and most efficient way of recovery.

With a Med Kit in the inventory, players can simply hit down on the D-pad to use it and gain an immediate boost to health. While a large amount will be restored in an instant, there will also be a short period of time when the remaining health recovery will require the Med Kit to do its thing. Getting damage during this period will reduce the health gain, so avoid conflict as much as possible when healing.

There is also the added bonus of removing any harmful effects that might be affecting the player at the moment. This means any burning, shock, or caustic effects caused by the army of undead can be remedied immediately without delay by using a Med Kit in Dead Island 2.

Dead Island 2 How to Heal Med Kit Protein Bar

Should there not be any Med Kits around or a lack of resources to craft one, do not fret. Throughout the world, there will be other helpful items that can be used to restore some health. Protein Bars are a great way to heal up for a small amount quickly, as do Energy Drinks. These fizzy beverages also benefit from accumulating Fury, allowing Slayers to tap into their crazier side to unleash some hurt.

Dead Island 2 will launch on April 21 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
