Dead Island 2's unique weapons mostly come as rewards for quests instead of loot. The action role-playing game features two categories of weaponry; firearms and melee tools. Although filled with weapons of different rarity, it is almost impossible to come by a Unique or Legendary grade in the locations of Hell-A. Also, the Unique ones are restricted from trading and scrapping; most are specially built with default perks and models.
The Unique Weapons in Dead Island 2 grow with their user; their level increases parallel to the user's in-game avatar level. These weapon variants have their own unique names given to them by the developers. One thing to note is that Unique Weapons can only be found once. Dead Island 2: All Unique Weapons and Where to Find Them
Black Magic

At Venice Beach, Dead Island 2 players can defeat a unique Screamer called Rose at the abandoned checkpoint to the northeast. Rose will drop a key to open Rose's Storage Box, located behind the counter in Rose's Tattoo on the boardwalk. Players can snag the Unique Weapon, Black Magic, from the box.
Extinction Event

After finishing the main quest, "Boardwalking Dead," players will encounter Zombie Butchers throughout Hell-A. One of these Butchers roaming the streets is named Target Practice. Defeating Target Practice and obtaining its key allows players to open Nikki's Bounty Box, found in Nikki Gutte's bedroom closet on the southwestern side of the map. Players can find Extinction Event inside the box equipped with the Superior Liquidator mod and Acid Rain perk.
Gastric Bypass

When players reach Venice Beach, they should look near the police station for a rare Slobber zombie named the Burger '66 Server. Defeating this zombie will yield a key that opens a locker in the nearby Burger '66 staff room. Inside the locker, players will discover the Unique Weapon Gastric Bypass.
Jade Dragon
- Variety: Sword
- Class: Superior
To obtain the Jade Dragon, players must complete the side quest "It Came from Monarch Studios" and then proceed to "The Terror of Sound Stage 7!" quest, both located in Monarch Studios. The initial side quest can be started from the nearest radio after completing "The Red Mist." Once players finish "The Terror of Sound Stage 7!" quest, they will receive the Jade Dragon as a reward.
O-Kami and Whiskey

- Class: Rare
To obtain the rare katana "O-Kami and Whiskey" in Dead Island 2, players must complete the side missions "Resurrect the Rex" and "The Ballad of Rikky Rex" in Beverly Hills. This Unique Weapon is a maiming katana that improves limb damage and durability. Once players finish the last mission, they will receive it as a reward from Rikky Rex.
Peggy

To obtain the powerful Unique Weapon Peggy in Dead Island 2, players must complete the Bel-Air side quest called "Creature Comforts." First, they need to locate and rescue an actor named Curtis Sinclair. Once players find him and he goes to Emma Jaunt's house, he will ask them to find booze and cigars. If players fulfill his demands, they will receive Peggy as a reward.
Raven

The Unique Weapon Raven is extremely lethal due to its stacking bonus ability. Each successful hit adds to the damage inflicted on the target, making it more potent over time. Fans can obtain Raven by completing the Lost & Found quest "My Mailman Was a Zombie." To initiate the quest, one must explore the Bel-Air after unlocking the Fast Travel Map. Once players get behind the Bel-Air delivery truck, they must pick up the spawned journal and start locating the mailman.
Red Dragon

To get the Red Dragon in Dead Island 2, all one needs to do is buy it from a trader in Ocean Avenue.
Shark Tooth

To obtain the Shark Tooth, players must complete three worthwhile side quests in this order: The Rav-Ages of Caustic X, Boz Makes a Bang, and Dez and the Mother of Satan. Players will receive the Mystery Goodie Box Key upon completing the third and final quest in the chain. Opening the box rewards the participants with Shark Tooth; the weapon will have an "Electrocutor" mod and a perk that amplifies shock damage.
Special Forces

The Special Forces Knife is a highly effective Unique Weapon in Dead Island 2, known for its impressive stats and abilities. Skilled players can leverage their power to increase critical damage significantly. To acquire the Special Forces Knife, players need to purchase it from a trader located in Venice Beach.
The Tenderizer

Classified as a Maiming-class Meat Hammer, The Tenderizer is a rare and unique Dead Island melee weapon. To acquire it, players must buy the Unique Weapon from a trader located in Venice Beach.
Wildstyle
- Variety: Axe
- Class: Superior
Wildstyle is a unique weapon in Dead Island 2 that combines the looks of a firefighter's axe with blow torches. Players must complete "The Art of War" side quest on Ocean Avenue to obtain it. However, this mission is challenging and may be too difficult for solo players to complete early in the game.
Zom-B-Gon
- Variety: Axe
- Class: Superior
This powerful Unique Weapon deals bleeding damage that spreads to other zombies. Players can earn it as a reward for finishing the "Going Viral" Side Quest in Hollywood Boulevard. This quest becomes available after finishing the main story. Complete Amanda Styles' two side quests to unlock it: "#Clickbait" in Bel-Air and "Like and Follow" on the Pier. When players finish "Going Viral," they will receive a Zom-B-Gon as a reward.
