Among the many offerings for players in Dead Island 2, Lost and Found quests create an elaborate challenge in which slayers must weed through clues in order to piece together the location of significant rewards.
One of the first of these side quests that may crop up for players is The Clean and Snatch Quest. In Dead Island 2’s version of Beverly Hills, players are likely to stumble upon a note from a chest marked ‘Obi’s Things’ as well as the first of several clues that will lead to the key to unlocking it, thus beginning this vague mystery.
Clean and Snatch
Lost and Found quests are best tracked by accessing the player menu. Head to ‘Collectibles’, ‘Journal’, and switch the tab over to ‘Lost and Found’. Here, the game will list the number of clues needed in order to progress the quest line. For The Clean and Snatch quest, players will need to find 4 clues. The first should be found with Obi’s Things, a locked chest that sits in the pool at Roxanne's. Upon examining these clues, players will notice significant keywords marked in red. These red markers will hint at the next step in the quest.
For this quest, the player will need to investigate three nearby pools in Beverly Hills. Head to each of these locations and be cautious of the zombies who infest them. At each of these points, the player will find the next three clues: Dave’s Phone, Note from Michael, and Obi’s Phone. They do not need to be found in any specific order. All of these clues are in or next to their respective pools and therefore should be difficult to miss.
Now that each of the clues has been located, the hints should pretty clearly allude to a familiar location that needs to be re-examined. Players should already know a place with the pizza and unicorn floaties residing at a house that hosts a prank channel. The Goat Pen house can be accessed by fast traveling to Bel Air. Once inside Goat Pen, head to the pool. If all the clues for The Clean and Snatch quest have been added to the inventory, Obi the Pool Guy will spawn. Obi is a significant runner zombie, and he will likely be accompanied by other enemies who should be swiftly dispatched. Once Obi is down, looting the body will produce the key needed to unlock Obi’s chest.
Fast travel back to Beverly Hills. In Roxanne’s pool, Obi’s chest can now be unlocked. Once the player has claimed the Electrocutor’s Officer Sword, the quest will be marked as complete.
