There are plenty of Lost and Found quests to dive into across the vibrant hellscape of Dead Island 2. The player will scavenge across HELL-A, searching for miscellaneous clues that usually lead to a unique zombie that needs to be put down to claim an item on their person. However, sometimes Dead Island 2 likes to switch up this conventional formula and offer something fresh.
In the Missing: Nadia quest, players will find a report on the bulletin in the Serling Hotel. This time, Nadia has actually reported herself missing, adding to the already compelling mystery. It is now up to the slayer to venture out to the LA Metro in an effort to uncover what may have happened.
Missing: Nadia Quest Walkthrough
To access the Missing: Nadia quest, the player must first have access to Dead Island 2's Metro area of HELL-A, which becomes available at the start of the End of the Line main quest. Beyond that, they will likely need to complete several other missing persons missions on the Serling Hotel bulletin board, as Nadia is one of the last that the board offers.
As previously mentioned, Nadia has reported herself missing, and her post clearly alludes to locking herself in a room in the Metro. Upon heading to the nav point, players will see a padlock beside the door with Nadia’s map beside it. This map is ostensibly the key to completing this quest.
Nadia has spray-painted the 4-digit code for the door at different spots throughout the Metro. Each clue can be found at each of the spots on her map drawing, but some still require a deft eye to spot them. The first clue is sprayed onto the wall opposite Nadia’s locked room.
The second can be found inside the second train car. Once inside, look up, and the painted number should be easily visible on the car's ceiling.
The third clue should be relatively easy to track down at the above placement on the map, but be wary of the Dead Island 2 enemies that lurk in this section of the Metro.
The fourth clue can be a bit of a pain to find. Go to this exact spot on the map and look at the walls. Once all four digits have been found, backtrack to Nadia’s door to input the code.
The player will not be able to input the code as Nadia bursts through the door, ready to fight all on her own. Nadia has become a unique Screamer zombie. Be sure to strafe to avoid her scream and get behind her for big damage.
Once she has been put down, investigate inside the room and find her 'thank you' note to complete the quest. Poor Nadia has a surprisingly tragic backstory, and that, combined with the compelling mystery, makes this one of Dead Island 2’s standout missing-person quests.
Dead Island 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
