Halperin Security Safe Location
The Halperin Security Safe is located in the Halperin Hotel area, one of the first areas of the game that players will encounter. The safe will be on the counter in one of the security booths outside the front of the hotel.
There are multiple booths in this stage, but the correct one sits between a fork in the path on the initial journey to the hotel. The right side of the path leads to another parking lot area, while the left side leads down into a parking garage.
How to Get Security Guard's Safe Key
Thankfully, the Security Guard's Safe Key is not very far from the Halperin Security Safe. From the safe's location in the booth, players simply need to take the downward path into the parking garage. There will be multiple enemies in the garage, including a few Crushers, but the enemy that is holding onto the key is a security guard.
Players can get the Security Guard's Safe Key by defeating the security guard zombie in the parking garage at the Halperin Hotel. While the security guard is a regular zombie and requires no special tactics to beat it, there are several enemies to deal with at once that could be troublesome.
Some Dead Island 2 players may have to wait and fast-travel back to the area later to get the key but should be a much easier time if playing co-op with friends. The reward from the Halperin Security Safe is a random weapon, though could have some better stats than what players normally find around the environment.
