The lockboxes in Dead Island 2 contain valuable weapons, mods, or resources for players to loot. However, getting their keys usually consists of picking a fight with an Apex Zombie in the same area, most of which only spawn once players complete certain portions of the main story.

Space Fox 2250 Prop Location
The Space Fox 2250 Prop is at Monarch Studios, a giant conglomerate of movie sets and trailers. Players will first unlock the area during the quest O Michael, Where Art Thou?
Like most areas in Hell-A, the studios are overrun with Zombies, so keeping lots of Med Packs and ensuring their weapons are prepared is wise while exploring the area. The Space Fox 2250 Prop is next to building 1 on the north side of the studio grounds, but players won't be able to get ahold of the key until later in the story.
Space Fox 2250 Prop Key Location
The Space Fox 2250 Prop Key is found on a Spiky Runner called Space Fox Prop Master. The prop master will only spawn after players complete the Michael Anders and the Holy Grail main quest by defeating Alesis Hernandez, and they've unlocked the Boz Makes a Bang side quest.
Boz Makes a Bang becomes available after finishing the quest Plumbing the Depths, and using the radio to talk to Hana. Players can use a map to fast travel back to Monarch Studios after they finish at the Serling Hotel. The Space Fox Prop Master will be in the alley by building 7, just west of the container.
Spiky Runners deal greater damage upon contact and attack by recklessly throwing their bodies at players. Cutting off their legs is an excellent way to slow them down and force some distance. Once players kill the prop master, he drops the Space Fox 2250 Prop key, and they can unlock the lockbox.
Slobbers and other Zombies will most likely be waiting along the way back across the parking lot to building 1, so stay alert. The Space Fox 2250 Prop contains the Superior weapon, Electrocuter Pistol. Its power level depends on the player level, but it comes equipped with an Electrocuter mod.
