The Dead Island series has always been pushing the fun factor of combat and exploration, dropping players into areas full of swarming and dangerous zombies while also teasing valuable rewards that are just around the corner. Dead Island 2 definitely doesn't stray from that formula, and it has certainly embraced its roots more, with plenty of lockboxes littered around Hell-A just waiting to be opened by the curious.
Of course, it is not always going to be that easy to gain access to the rewards that are usually valuable. Many of such locked containers require the right key to unlock their contents, and for those looking to open up the Party Contraband Case with the Bouncer Key, this guide will cover everything required.
Where is the Party Contraband Case Located in Dead Island 2
The location of this lockbox will reveal itself once players take on the side quest that is Ballad of Rikky Rex. This requires players to head to the lavish mansion that Rikky called home in Beverly Hills, which is to the southeast corner of the map. Before players can head upstairs, they will have to deal with the undead members of the band, Gods and Whiskey, which includes a Walker, Runner, Crusher, and finally, a Screamer, not to mention hordes of other zombies.
Now that Rikky's Kitchen Key is in possession, players can then head upstairs, eventually arriving at Rikky's bedroom, which is made quite clear by the graffiti on the wall. While the side quest requires players to obtain the guitar known as Chopper, players can return after completing the quest and look to the right of the closet, and in the corner will be the Party Contraband Case.
Where is the Bouncer's Key Located in Dead Island 2
With the case still locked, the only way to open it up is to find the right corresponding key in Dead Island 2. Thankfully, it is not that far of a distance to travel. Simply head back to Rikky's house once the side quest has been turned in, and head up to the pool area where the battle against Gods and Whiskey took place.
Now, there will be a named Crusher that will spawn, and eliminating this Party Bouncer will see the Bouncer's Key drop from its now lifeless body. Grab those keys, head back upstairs to Rikky's bedroom, and unlock the Party Contraband Case for a new weapon in the form of the Whispering Blade.
