A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail has teased the appearance of a new character referred to as "Firefly," showing off the character's in-game model. Since its debut last month, the newest RPG from Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse has already seen multiple leaks related to its upcoming roster additions. Updates from beta tests and in-development characters have shown off more than 20 playable characters planned to join the game in future updates. Now, another new character's in-game appearance is being teased by leakers.

With two fully explorable worlds released with the launch of Honkai: Star Rail, upcoming additions to the game's roster feature characters from several different backgrounds. All three known members of the Stellaron Hunters have been revealed for future releases with Silver Wolf debuting in Version 1.1 and both Kafka and Blade following her in Version 1.2. Jarilo-VI is set to receive a new character in Version 1.2 with Luka while Version 1.1 will introduce the Xianzhou Luofu's Yukong, Helm Master of the Sky-Faring Commission. Now, yet another new character has been revealed to be coming to the game.

A new update from Honkai: Star Rail leaker group The HoYoverse Chanels has revealed the character model for unannounced upcoming character Firefly. Firefly's design sports a mixture of soft colors with subtle greens and blues throughout her dress and silver hair with blue tips. Not much is known about the character's background within the story as Firefly has yet to officially appear within Honkai: Star Rail. The leak does reveal a full character model sheet for Firefly, suggesting her eventual release may come sooner rather than later.

While Firefly's role within Star Rail's story has yet to be confirmed, she would be far from the first new character leaked throughout recent weeks. The month since Star Rail's release has seen a plethora of leaks about characters planned to join the roster, both showing off in-game models and even full gameplay showcases for some characters. Several characters like Kafka and Luocha have even already appeared in the game, giving players an idea of how they will play once officially released. No launch window or gameplay information was confirmed for Firefly.

Alongside new characters, Honkai: Star Rail's Version 1.1 is set to introduce plenty of new events and features to the popular RPG. Star Rail's first post-launch update will introduce a highly requested Friend Chat system, with the game currently lacking any means of in-game communication. Events during the patch will put players in charge of the Everwinter City Museum in a management-themed mini-game, as well as featuring a Silver Wolf event on the Herta Space Station. Star Rail's first new update looks to bring plenty of content to keep players coming back.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
