Anyone that has played at least a few hours of a mainline Pokemon game most likely knows everything they need to know about healing and reviving the Pokemon in their party. However, since there are many new Pokemon players jumping in with Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, there are bound to be folks who don't understand how to keep their Pokemon alive and well.

How Do I Heal My Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

For players that want their Pokemon in tip-top shape for any upcoming battle, they need to make sure their team's health is maxed out at all times. There are several different ways to heal Pokemon, but let's go over the most common ways:

• Trainers can heal their entire party for no charge by simply speaking to the woman at any Pokemon Center. The Pokemon Centers show up on the map as a red Poke Ball icon. Players can fast travel to any Pokemon Center they've visited by clicking on it on the map and choosing 'Fly Here.'

• Another way to heal Pokemon (in the field and during battles) is to use healing items, like Potions and Super Potions. Press X to pull up the menu, choose a Pokemon on the left side of the screen, and then press A. Choose to Restore Health and then choose the appropriate item in the Medicine Bag.
• Healing items can be found while exploring the open world, but they can also be purchased from the Poke Mart at any Pokemon Center. Potions recover 20 HP; Super Potions restore 60 HP, and there are even stronger medicines to find too.
• Players can also press the Minus button in the menu to Auto Heal the team. This will heal every Pokemon in the party, but it will use the items in the players' bag to do so.

How to Heal Fainted Pokemon

When a Pokemon loses its health during a battle, it'll faint and can no longer be used in battle. Do not fret, though, as Pokemon that faint can easily be revived, but Potions will not work on it.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players need to use items like Revives (or Max Revives) to bring their buddies back to life. Of course, players can also revive Pokemon using the Pokemon Center.

What Happens When my Entire Team Faints?

If a trainer becomes overwhelmed by a battle and ends up getting their entire team wiped out, they will pay a fee to the trainer, and they will get sent back to the last Pokemon Center they visited.
