A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail shows off more than 20 upcoming characters planned for the game, detailing each member's element and Path. While the newest RPG from Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse debuted with more than 20 playable characters for the game's launch last month, the developer has not been shy about introducing more. The upcoming Version 1.1 update, scheduled for next week, is set to introduce three new characters to the game with Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong. Now, a new leak has teased plenty more coming in the near future.

While HoYoverse is just gearing up for Honkai: Star Rail's first post-launch update, the developer's plans for the future are already known to include plenty more cast members. In the week leading up to Version 1.1's Special Program, HoYoverse would introduce three more characters coming to Honkai: Star Rail in Version 1.2. The mid-July update will bring two new five-star characters in Kafka and Blade, as well as the four-star Luka joining the cast. Now, recent updates are teasing even more characters planned for the sci-fi RPG with more than 20 characters leaked.

An update shared by Honkai: Star Rail leaker PyroSussy shows off a chart depicting a plethora of leaked characters from the game, accompanied by elements and Paths. The leak teases several characters who have already appeared within Honkai: Star Rail, including Xueyi as a Quantum Destruction character and Fu Xuan as a Quantum Preservation character. The expansive chart hints at several completely unrevealed characters with Pyro characters Butler, Fenghuang, and Sam all lacking proper pictures. The chart also teases rarities for its unannounced characters, boasting gold and purple borders.

Among the most interesting inclusions are Star Rail versions of popular Honkai Impact 3rd characters Raiden Mei and Yae Sakura. The two characters serve as integral parts of the story of Honkai Impact 3rd and their inclusion in Star Rail would not be the first time versions of them have come to other HoYoverse games. Genshin Impact boasts a pair of characters inspired by the Honkai characters, with Inazuma's Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko playing crucial roles in their region's story. No launch windows were given for any of the unreleased characters.

While Star Rail's leaks have given hints at new members of the roster, the pre-release teasers have also suggested several new gameplay elements will be coming to the RPG soon. Leaks from Version 1.2 have suggested the popular Simulated Universe game mode will be receiving an update, adding a new world for players to challenge. Early hints about the third fully explorable world have also been teased, though little is yet known about the next area. Star Rail looks to have plenty of content coming to keep the game's early momentum going strong.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
