Table of contents

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have three main storylines for players to follow, and once all three paths are completed, a final fourth one will commence, throwing players into the crater of the Paldea region to uncover some secrets. For those trying to wrap up the Path of Legends, this Pokemon Scarlet/Violet guide will help players beat Arven and his six-Pokemon team.

Before heading into the final battle of the storyline, players should be prepared with a team of Pokemon around Arven's team's levels, which range from level 58 to level 63. Also, be sure to have some useful healing items like Max Potions, Revives, and Full Heals. It's also worth noting that four of Arven's Pokemon are weak to Fighting-type moves, so try and have at least one or two Pokemon with a powerful Fighting-type attack like Close Combat, Aura Sphere, Cross Chop, etc., etc.

After beating Arven, players can finally head to the Zero Gate to continue the story of Scarlet and Violet.

If players feel that their Pokemon team is a bit under-leveled to take on Arven, they should try and defeat the other Gym Leaders and take down the Team Star bases. If they are completed already, try some Tera Raid battles or regular Pokemon Trainer battles. Using EXP Candy is not a bad idea either.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch.
