Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have made several big changes to the franchise, from removing tall grass to adding new Tera Form Pokemon. But, many veteran Pokemon players have noticed that some of these changes have affected gameplay, making the games slightly easier to play (one reason why some players have created challenges).

But, the real challenge comes from completing the Pokemon Scarlet's & Violet's Pokedex. Unfortunately, players can't complete their Pokedex until they beat all Gym Leaders and the final boss. Once completed, players gain access to Paradox Pokemon, which ranges from Ancient and Future. And one particularly difficult Paradox Pokemon to locate in Pokemon Scarlet is Scream Tail (Paradox Jigglypuff).

Scream Tail (Paradox Jigglypuff) can ONLY be caught in Pokemon Scarlet.

After beating the final boss, players will gain access to the mysterious Area Zero, located in the middle of Paldea. Area Zero is the breeding ground of all Paradox Pokemon, like Sandy Shocks or Brute Bonnet. So, to start hunting the prized Scream Tail, players should head over to the Zero Gate and transport to Research Gate No. 1.

Players should keep in mind that while Paradox Pokemon spawn all over Area Zero, there are some areas where specific Paradox Pokemon tend to spawn more often (like Brute Bonnet in Research Gate No 2.). In this case, Paradox Jigglypuff can usually be seen outside of Research Gate No.1, but can be seen in other areas.

Players should exit the Research Gate building and begin to search for Paradox Jigglypuff. More often than not, Scream Tail can be seen as soon as players enter the area, but players may need to "force" it to spawn. One effective method of getting Scream Tail to spawn is battling nearby Wild Pokemon (using Auto-Battle will make it a lot easier), thus forcing the game to spawn more Pokemon. Alternatively, leaving the area resets the Wild Pokemon. Alternatively, leaving the area resets the Wild Pokemon.

Scream Tail is weak to Poison-, Ghost-, and Steel-type attacks, meaning players should use Swalot (Poison-type) or Copperajah (Steel-type). As with all Pokemon, there's a slight chance a Shiny Paradox Scream Tail to spawn. The differences are quite difficult to notice as only the eyes are a different color (red).

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
