Igglypuff, Jigglypuff, and Wigglytuff have been fan favorites since their introductions - Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff in Gen 1, and Igglypuff following as a Baby Pokemon in Gen 2. They've been in every single Pokemon game since their introduction, aside from Pokemon: Legends Arceus. This, of course, includes Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
The Jigglypuff line has some interesting evolution mechanics -- there is a different one for each evolution. This makes finding all three somewhat difficult to figure out, as the game never explicitly states it. Here's how to catch all three adorable Normal/Fairy-type Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
How To Get Igglybuff in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Igglybuff, despite being listed as 'rarely seen', actually has the widest spawn range of the entire evolution line. The baby Pokemon can be found in several locations, though players may be best off looking in the area around Medali. It doesn't spawn too frequently, so players looking to catch an Igglybuff in the wild may want to make a sandwich that increases Normal encounter power, like the Ultra Curry-and-Rice-Style Sandwich or the Great Tofu Sandwich:
- South Province (Area One)
- The Pokemon League
- South Province (Area Two)
- South Province (Area Six)
- South Province (Area Three)
- West Province (Area Two)
- West Province (Area Three)
- East Province (Area Three)
- East Province (Area One)
- East Province (Area Two)
How To Get Jigglypuff in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Jigglypuff can be found in the following locations, particularly in the area around Medali, similar to Igglybuff. While it has a smaller spawn range, it seems to spawn more frequently, making it an easier catch than its pre-evolution and evolution. The same sandwich recipes that increase Igglybuff encounters will also increase Jigglypuff encounters in these locations:
- South Province (Area Two)
- West Province (Area Three)
It can also be evolved from an Igglybuff with high friendship.
How To Get Wigglytuff in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Wigglytuff is an extremely rare spawn, only available in the area around the Fairy-type Team Star Base:
- North Province (Area One)
It's such a rare spawn that many players will go their entire game without seeing one. For an easier time acquiring a Wigglytuff, players can evolve Jigglypuff with a Moon Stone. It's currently the only Pokemon in the game to evolve with a Moon Stone, and it can be used on a Jigglypuff at any level.
