With the release of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, the number of total Pokemon increased by 107. That means there are well over 1000 Pokemon throughout the entire franchise. And while Pokemon Scarlet & Violet only has 400 Pokemon to catch, it's still enough to keep completionists busy filling up their Pokedex.

One Pokemon that some Pokemon Trainers may struggle to find is Nymble, a Bug-type Pokemon that evolves into a powerful Dark-type hybrid (Lokix). With the aid of this Pokemon Scarlet & Violet guide, players will be able to locate and evolve Nymble without breaking a sweat.

Where To Find Nymble

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Nymble Spawn

Nymble can be caught relatively early in a Pokemon Scarlet & Violet playthrough since it's commonly found Northwest of Cortondo and Alfornada (going toward Cascarrafa or Porto Marinada). Another possible Nymble spawn location can be found near South Province Pokecenter (East of Mesagoza). Unfortunately, players can't force Nymble to spawn, and since several other Pokemon spawn in these locations, it might take some time until it finally spawns.

To speed up the spawns, players should battle nearby Pokemon since every area has a limit on how many Pokemon spawn before new ones come. One method of quickly disposing of Wild Pokemon is enabling the Auto-Battle feature since it sends out a player's Pokemon to battle wild Pokemon without the player having to do anything. Nymble is fairly easy to beat, but Fire- and Flying-type Pokemon are its best counters. Additionally, there's a slight chance of a Shiny Nymble to spawn, it'll have a yellow body instead of blue.

Evolving Nymble To Lokix (Or Catching It)

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Nymble Evolving

Like other common Pokemon, Nymble evolves at level 24. If players have already beaten the main storyline, they'll be able to level up Nymble in no time by re-battling Trainers. If Pokemon fans are still in the early stages of Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet, then they can battle the nearby wild Pokemon (from where Nymble was caught) since they range from level 7 to 20. Players that wish to use Nymble in the competitive scene will want to check its IV beforehand so as not to waste time and energy on it.

Where To Catch Lokix

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Lokix Location

There are several areas in Paldea that Lokix spawns, but the area that has the most consistent spawns is directly Northeast of Porto Marinada. Once again players will need to defeat other wild Pokemon to get Lokix to spawn in this area.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are available now for the Nintendo Switch.
