In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, one of the new Pokemon that has been added to the game is in the form of a Pokemon called Varoom, which is another Pokemon that has taken a form that resembles a machine or artificial creation. In this case, Varoom and its evolution Revavroom look like the engine of a car or other large machine.
These Pokemon are used by the delinquent Team Star throughout the game during the first time they are encountered by players, being one of the sources of movement for the Bosses of Team Star when they use their invented vehicles. While players will not be able to receive these special Revavrooms, players can nonetheless acquire for themselves the unique poison and steel-type Pokemon by following this guide.
Varoom Location and Catching Tips
Starting with Varoom, players can find these little engines by heading over toward the East Province (Area Three) Location in the Paldea Region of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Once here, players will need to move about the mining area while keeping an eye out for the little steel engines that float about the zone.
Players can make this easier and less time-consuming by first eating a sandwich or a meal that boosts their chances of encountering either poison or steel type Pokemon. Once encountered, players can use a Quickball to have a high chance of catching one without having to battle it, especially if they also have the capture power active.
Finding a Revaroom
If players are just looking to capture a fully evolved Revavroom, then they should move instead to the section of the map titled North Province (Area One). Once here, players should be able to see some Revaroom roaming around the zone.
If players are having some difficulty with finding one, they can also utilize the sandwiches they can make in picnics or by buying a meal in one of the towns scattered around the game. Players should aim to have either an encounter power steel or poison, as these will increase the odds of finding a Revavroom roaming around in the wild.
Evolving to Revaroom
The first method to obtain a Revavroom is to evolve the Varoom that was caught earlier in this guide. To do this, all that players will have to do is to level their Varoom until it reaches level 40, at which point it will evolve into a Revaroom.
Wild Tera Type Revaroom
The final option for obtaining a Revavroom is for players to head up to the northern reaches of Glaseado Mountain. On the northern side of the mountain, players will be able to encounter a wild tera type Revavroom roaming around the base.
This Revavroom has a fire tera type, and once captured or knocked unconscious, it will respawn the following day. This makes it possible to capture many of these wild tera type Revavrooms, though they will always be a fire tera type Pokemon.
