The open world of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is a little confusing. With the freedom to go almost anywhere, players can encounter high-level opponents and Pokemon right out of the gate. This is good and bad. On the one hand, encountering high-level opponents at an early stage provides a lot of EXP. On the other hand, pitting under-leveled Pokemon against strong opponents is a surefire way to get sent straight back to a Pokemon Center.
To combat this, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players can purchase potions and other HP-restoring items at Pokemon Centers and other shops around Paldea. There are all kinds of options for healing, but especially in the early game, players will want to strategize and choose the best healing item to spend Pokecoins on. The Revival Herb is one of those options, and here's exactly where to find it.
Where To Buy Revival Herbs
Revival Herbs can be purchased at any Chansey Supply, as indicated on the map above. Chansey Supply shops can be found in a few locations across Paldea: Mesagoza, Levincia, Montenevera, and Cascarrafa. The best option for new players is to head to the Mesagoza location, the central hub of Paldea where the school is located.
Revival Herbs cannot be purchased at the Auction House in Porto Marinada, as many other HP recovery items can. This makes it a rarer HP recovery option than most, so it might be worth waiting until later in the game when Miraidon/Koraidon has received more upgrades.
Revival Herbs cost $2,800 Pokecoins, so they're more expensive than all the standard potions, but they have an additional effect that makes them worth the cost.
How To Use Revival Herbs
Revival Herbs are incredibly useful HP recovery items that revive Pokemon and restore full HP. They are used from the bag and consumed after use.
It's worth noting that Revival Herbs lower the Pokemon's friendship stat, though it doesn't state so in the item description. It's not by a significant amount (10 or 15 points), but it should be used sparingly on Pokemon that require high friendship to evolve.
