The Razor Claw is a held item that has been present in the Pokemon games since Generation 4. Like most held items in the games, it provides the holder with an advantage in battle. However, it is also essential for making a specific Pokemon evolve.
The Razor Claw makes its return in Generation 9's Scarlet and Violet, but it's not one of the easier items to obtain. Players won't simply find it lying around on the ground, as is the case with many useful items. Instead, they'll have to do a bit of work and pay a bit of in-game money to get their hands on one.
Where To Find The Razor Claw
Delibird Presents
Players can purchase a Razor Claw at any Delibird Presents shop, which are located in various cities across Paldea.

Players can find the Delibird Presents store in each city by zooming in as far as they can on the map. This will show various stores and restaurants in the area. Hover the magnifying glass over each one to see the shop's name. For players who find themselves easily lost, try marking one of the available Delibird Presents as the destination, so that it will appear on the minimap.
Delibird Presents will have the Razor Claw available for purchase for the cost of 15,000 PokeDollars. Players must have at least four gym badges for the item to appear in the shop's inventory.
Porto Marinada Auctions
After completing the Gym Test for the Cascarrafa Gym, players will be able to participate in Auctions at Porto Marinada. The Razor Claw is among the goods that have a chance to be sold here. However, to win the auctions, the player must place the highest bid. As a result, this option can potentially be much more expensive than simply buying one from DeliBird Presents.
What Is The Razor Claw Used For?
When held by a Pokemon, the Razor Claw will boost that Pokemon's Critical Hit ratio. This allows players the potential for dealing massively increased damage in battle, as Critical Hits double the damage that a move would normally do.
Additionally, (and for many players, more importantly), the Razor Claw is necessary in order to evolve Sneasel into Weavile. To do this, give the Razor Claw to Sneasel to hold, and then level it up during the nighttime. A Dark/Ice type, Weavile is a fast and vicious physical attacker, and a great asset to the player's team.
