In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, there are many different items that players can use to increase the strength or versatility of their Pokemon. These items have effects that range from making moves of certain types stronger, causing support moves to last longer or become more effective, or supplementing the defenses of Pokemon.

In the last category, an item that returns to the series is the Leftovers held item. This item steadily restores the HP of the Pokemon that is holding it, increasing its survivability. If players are looking for the option to steadily restore their Pokemon during battle, here is where they can find one for themselves.

Leftovers Explained

For newer players to the series, Leftovers have been in the series ever since it was introduced in generation 2. Once obtained, this item has the effect of restoring 1/16th of its holder's heath at the end of every turn.

This gives the Pokemon a bit more staying power and can be quite useful if given to a Pokemon with high defensive and HP stats; Leftovers can be obtained in a couple of different ways in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to Get Leftovers

To obtain the Leftovers for themselves, players have the option of either purchasing Leftovers from a shop or finding one sitting on the ground in a town.

In Medali, the town that is home to Larry, the Normal type Gym Leader and the Treasure Eatery, there is a clearing in the center of some buildings where some dining tables have been set up, along with two food carts that cater to them.

Behind these food carts is a single Leftovers held item that can be picked up and given to a Pokemon.

If players are looking for a repeatable method of acquiring Leftovers for their team, then they will have to be ready to spend some Poke Dollars.

Players can fly or walk over to Cascarrafa, over by the Asado desert in western Paldea. Players that need to walk or ride there can reach the beautiful Cascarrafa by heading out of the west gate of Mesagoza. Once they have, players can follow the road that leads west to Cortondo and follow that road through the town as it curves to the north.

Road to Cascarrafa

This road will curve around the landscape as it goes through a series of windmills before eventually moving back to the north and east. If players stick to the road, they will eventually come to the town of Cascarrafa, home of the water Gym Leader Kofu, who is also a chef.

Delibird Levincia

In the two-layered town of Cascarrafa, the top layer is home to a branch of Delibird Presents. In this shop, players can purchase as many Leftovers for themselves as they would like, provided they are willing to pay 20,000 Poke Dollars for each one.

Once players have visited the Delibird Presents in Cascarrafa and purchased Leftovers, they will have the means to make their defensive Pokemon even harder to take down.
