Ever since its release, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has already hosted 14 Tera Raid events. For months now players have been given opportunities to catch rare and exclusive Pokemon in intensely difficult Tera Raid battles, and it seems there's no intention of slowing down, which is great for fans that enjoy the game's post-game and the competitive scene.

The 15th Tera Raid event will soon take place, and this time around gamers will get the unique chance to get themselves a high-leveled Blissey. This guide will help players get through the Blissey Tera Raid battle in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet to ensure their success during the event.

How To Participate In The Blissey Tera Raid Event

The Blissey Tera Raid event will be live at the same time as the second run of the Decidueye Tera Raid event; players can find Blissey in Tera Raid battles from March 24 at 00:00 UTC until March 26 at 23:59 UTC.

Unlike the Decidueye Tera Raid which is a 7-Star Raid, the Blissey Tera Raid will only be a 5-Star Raid. This means that players that haven't gained access to 7-Star Raids yet won't have to worry about running into Decidueye if they don't want to battle it once again.

Gamers that haven't unlocked 5-Star Raids in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will need to complete the main story of the game and get through its credits. Afterward, they will receive a call letting them know they've gained access to these powerful battlegrounds.

To receive the necessary data to engage in Tera Raid event battles, the player must connect their Nintendo Switch console to the internet, visit the Poke Portal to find the Mystery Gift menu, and then simply check the Poke Portal News.

How To Catch Blissey

The Blissey Tera Raid event will be available in both versions of the game, so, as long as a player engages with Tera Raid Crystals scattered around the Paldea region, there's a chance that they'll encounter this Pokemon.

The Blissey that spawn in the raid dens during the event will have a random Tera-Type, and at the moment there has been no mention of players being limited to one event Pokemon per system. This might be the perfect occasion to catch a wide variety of Blissey or to farm Tera Shards, especially since it was announced that, while the event is live, this raid will provide an increased amount of Exp. Candies and Tera Shards.

Blissey is the Pokemon with the highest HP stat in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, so it can be hard to take down. The best way to defeat it is to take advantage of its weakness to Fighting-Type moves and its extremely low Defense base stat.

Koraidon has a reasonable Special Defense stat that'll allow it to survive hits and powerful physical Fighting-Type moves such as Collision Course and Close Combat - this makes it the perfect candidate to take when fighting Blissey.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
