Pokemon Scarlet & Violet introduced the concept of terastalization. This unique ability allows Pokemon to terastilize and change their typing defensively while still being able to take advantage of STAB moves from their original Type or Type combination and from their Tera-Type as well.

Gamers can find powerful wild Pokemon with useful Tera-Types if they interact with glowing Tera Crystals on the map. This week, an event will take place in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, and players will get the opportunity to catch Inteleon in a 7-Star Raid battle. This guide will help players successfully defeat the Pokemon in the den.

How To Participate In The Inteleon Tera Raid Event

Similarly to the recent Typhlosion Tera Raid, the Inteleon raid is classed a 7-Star Tera Raid, which means that to participate, players must first complete the main story of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, as well as the Academy Ace tournament and all gym rematches, and they will also have to beat at least ten 4-Star or higher Tera Raids.

If the player meets all the requirements mentioned above, the only step left is to check the Poke Portal News to get raid encounters to update.

The Inteleon Tera Raid event will be live from 00:00 UTC on April 28 until 23:59 UTC on April 30 and from 00:00 UTC on May 5 until 23:59 UTC on May 7.

The Inteleon that will appear after the player interacts with the 7-Star Raid Tera Crystal will have Ice as its Tera-Type. This means offensively, its Water- and Ice-Type moves will be stronger, but defensively its Ice-Type is what matters.

Players need to watch out for Ice-Beam because, with the Ice Tera-Type, it becomes a STAB move. However, it shouldn't be too difficult to take down Inteleon with the right Pokemon. It's already a pretty frail Pokemon in the first place due to its weak defenses and HP, and since Ice-Type is actually one of the weakest defensive types in the game, it makes it particularly fragile.

Steel- and Fighting-Type Pokemon with strong offensive moves are great choices for this battle. Gamers can find Riolu in South Province Area 4 and evolve it into Lucario by increasing their friendship with it. It gets access to powerful Fighting-Type moves such as Close Combat and Aura Sphere, which will quickly take down Inteleon as they are super effective against Ice-Type Pokemon.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are available now on Nintendo Switch.
