Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were sent there to investigate the presence of demons in the area. The battle that ensued between them and the demon family served as their first real encounter with the possibility of death.

The Butterfly Mansion is the residence of the Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho and her assistants, it is also often used as an infirmary for injured Demon Slayers. Its graceful design, adorned with intricate details and lush gardens reflects the refinement of Shinobu.

Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu were sent to recover there after their near-death experience with the Spider Demon Family. It also served as a place of great character development and intense training for the trio because they realized they had a lot to do before they could compete with the strongest demons.

7 Mount Kumotori

Mount Kumotori 

The house of Yoriichi Tsugukuni, the greatest Demon Slayer ever, and his wife, Uta, was located atop this mountain before Uta was killed by a demon. He abandoned the house and returned years later only to find Sumiyoshi and Suyako Kamado living in the same house. He befriended them, gave them his Hanafuda earrings and taught them the Sun breathing style, and told them to pass it down to their descendants.

The Kamado family continued to live at Mt. Kumotori for generations until Muzan attacked and killed Tamjiro’s family and turned Nezuko into a demon, causing Tanjiro to leave with Nezuko in search of revenge and a cure.

This is the mountain used by the Demon Slayer Corps for its extremely dangerous Final Selection Exams, where people who have trained to become Demon Slayers have to survive and prove themselves to be recognized as official Demon Slayers.

The mountain is covered in Wisteria flowers which are well known to be poisonous to demons, and they bloom every season from the foot of the mountain to its slope. Mount Fujikasane represents a challenging and transformative journey for the young Demon Slayers. As they ascend its treacherous slope, they face physical and emotional trials pushing the limits of their abilities and resolve.

The Swordsmith Village

The Swordsmith Village is the main location of the Swordsmith Village Arc which involves Hantengu, The Upper Moon Four, and Gyokko, The Upper Moon Five. It is a very secretive village located in a dense forest. The village is one of the most important Demon Slayer locations because that’s where the swordsmiths who forge nichirin blades reside and carry out all their duties. Even Demon Slayers have no idea where the exact location is, and if they wish to travel there must do so blindfolded.

The village is characterized by an idyllic setting, nestled amid lush forests, reflecting the harmony between nature and the craftsmanship practiced within its borders. There are various foundries and workshops filled with workers who wear a hyottoko mask at all times to conceal their true identities.

The Infinity Castle serves as the location for the Infinity Castle arc and is the manifestation of the new Upper Moon Four, Nakime’s Blood Demon Art. It is an endless extra-dimensional space that serves as the base of operations for Kibutsuji Muzan. The castle and its very unique rooms and spaces were used as the battlefield for many notable fights in the final assault on the demons.

It has endless wooden rooms and moving hallways and corridors, it also has a warped sense of gravity which are all under the control of Nakime. It has a very unusual structure which defies all knowledge of physics.
