Project Zomboid is an adaptable video game in which players fight endless waves of zombies. However, early in a playthrough of Project Zomboid, players will get tired easily, which causes them to move sluggishly. Consequently, they must use any means of transportation they can find to stay ahead of the zombies and to also transport their loot from one location to another.

The game features a fascinating and wide range of automobiles, from standard vehicles to sports cars. In order to narrow down the selection and highlight the best cars in Project Zomboid, the vehicles will be chosen based on their overall utility, including their horsepower and number of seats, and their usefulness in single-player and multiplayer.

10 Dash Bulldriver

The Dash Bulldriver is a heavy-duty vehicle with one of the most potent engines in the game. Its components and parts can be easily replaced with those from nearby old pickup trucks or passenger vans, making it viable as a long-term option. It is easy to use off-road and also helps haul larger vehicles in Project Zomboid. Additionally, it has one of the highest maximum loading capacities in the game.

One of the Dash Bulldriver's main drawbacks is its loud engine, which makes movement difficult in a brutally zombie-infested neighborhood. On the positive side, the care is not hard to find, and it comes in several different colors and styles. It's a one-of-a-kind vehicle that serves several purposes thanks to features like its sirens and radio.

9 Chevalier D6

While not the most exciting car, this tough pickup truck is one of the better picks in The Indie Stone's zombie-apocalypse-ravaged world. The two-seater vehicle comes in a few different styles, all of which are powerfully built. The Chevalier D6 boasts a huge trunk and a powerful engine, which are both useful in most situations.

They are particularly handy while transporting supplies or clearing zombies from the road. The vehicle's loud engine can be utilized to herd a group of zombies into a contained space, where they can be killed more quickly. The D6 can also go at higher speeds on muddy ground, enhancing its versatility.

8 Chevalier Cossette

The Chevalier Cossette can be spotted either parked in front of a pub in the city's western neighborhood or along the river. Due to its sparse availability, replacement components for this vehicle are in short supply.

The Cossette's rarity makes sense since it is arguably the coolest car in Project Zomboid, one that comes with a tiny trunk and an engine volume rated at 36. The two-door Cossette is not optimal for use in multiplayer because it can only seat two players at a time. This vehicle is so fast that it is often used to directly engage the zombies, particularly at night, and to quickly get to any location in the game.

7 Dash Rancher

Well-liked for its individuality and flair, the Dash Rancher's engine is more powerful than any other standard vehicle in Project Zomboid. Off-roading, camping, hunting for small creatures, and exploring forest areas for Items are all possible thanks to the 440-horsepower engine.

One factor contributing to the car's quick acceleration is the absence of a huge trunk. With an acceptable noise level of 36, it is one of the better options among all the cars in Project Zomboid.

6 Dash Elite And Chevalier Primani

The Chevalier Primani and the Dash Elite are great cars with similar features and identities, making it difficult for players to spot the difference. They provide an excellent balance between speed and practicality, which makes them ideal for survivors who are looking for sports-type cars.

Both are four-seaters with large trunks and high engine power. With a 32-noise level and an exceptional engine, they are a lot of fun to utilize on the multiplayer server. Even with their small size and low weight, these four-door cars are two of a kind.

5 Chevalier Nyala

As one of the most common vehicles in Project Zomboid, most players will ride a Chevalier Nyala at one point or another. Even though it lacks the glitz of some of the other vehicles in the game, this car serves its purpose well enough. The four-door vehicle is one of the most popular cars because of its versatility. Furthermore, players can find it in taxi and police car forms, among others.

It is reliable and can be easily repaired, making it a good choice to keep handy. It can accommodate four people comfortably and also features a powerful 400-horsepower engine. In addition to having a large trunk, its engine is so quiet that it won't rouse every zombie in Project Zomboid.

4 Chevalier Dart And Masterson Horizon

The Masterson Horizon and the Chevalier Dart are also two of the most common automobiles in the game, along with being the quietest. They make driving and looting at zombie-infested spots much safer due to their low sound levels. They have a medium-sized trunk, four comfortable seats, and adequate power from their engines, among other advantages.

In multiplayer, two-door cars are pretty much vital. As long as players are skilled behind the wheel, the Horizon and Dart are comfortably among the most secure vehicles in the game, as their agility allows them to easily avoid zombies.

3 Franklin All-Terrain

The heavy-duty Franklin All-Terrain can be driven off-road and used to clear a passage of undead. They are extremely uncommon in the game, so players will need to keep their eyes open for one if needed. This vehicle has a relatively loud engine (level 40) and one of the largest trunks in the game.

The vehicle's powerful engine (470 hp) ensures that its occupants will be able to quickly stock up on supplies and flee the area before the zombie horde arrives. It's a four-door car with room for four passengers, making it perfect for group adventures in Project Zomboid.

2 Chevalier Step Van

One of the most important vehicles in Project Zomboid, this van is often used for looting, even if its limited seating means it cannot bring the entire team back to base after a successful raid. While the Step Van's slow speed and loud noise make it less than ideal for everyday use or just to get around the map, there is no better tool for the job of moving.

Trucks like this one are perfect for relocating to a new city and setting up a new base of operations because of their large carrying capacity. With a weight of 1440 pounds, this van is extremely heavy, but that price is worth paying in the right situation. The vehicle's engine power (360 horsepower) makes it fast enough while traveling, especially on a straight path. It is also decent for off-road use.

1 Franklin Valuline (Ambulance)

The Franklin Valuline is designed to last. The ambulance is the most outstanding of the Valuline types and can mostly be found in Knox County, which is home to many other varieties. This variation is the most powerful non-sport vehicle in terms of engine power, and it is also the second most capacious vehicle in the game.

The Ambulance types have a sizable amount of medical supplies and equipment in the trunk, and it is also faster than the Valuline's other variants (which are quite slow). The two-seater vehicle is, unsurprisingly, among the loudest in the game, and it comes equipped with flashing lights and blaring sirens. Despite all that, this practical and useful car is an absolute necessity.

Project Zomboid is still in development and is available on PC only.
