Samar Studio published the first trailer for The Front to showcase everything this new open-world survival shooter game has to offer. The action-packed video unveiled some of the weapons players will be able to use in their fights against the mutated creatures and imperial forces, from assault rifles to baseball bats. The Front features over 400 tech formulas to learn and 20 different kinds of defenses and traps so players can build their base and protect themselves from any outside threat, with elements such as catapults, meat grinders, poison gas, and shocking electrical devices.

When they are not fighting or crafting, The Front players can explore the 36 square kilometers of open world, from mountaintops and lush forest to snowy devastated landscapes. The game features a large array of land, air, and sea vehicles that can be upgraded with additional armor and weapons. The Front also comes with a realistic day and night cycle and ten different types of weather, including fog, thunderstorms, and blizzards. Last but not least, survival enthusiasts will have to juggle between ten distinct survival indices including hunger, thirst, hypothermia, and infection.

While waiting for The Front to release, players who enjoy survival games can try to fend off against cannibalistic mutants in Sons of the Forest, survive on an isolated island in Stranded Deep, or discover the new features coming to Rust.
