Hasbro has announced four new figures coming as part of its Star Wars Vintage Collection line of toys to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Return of the Jedi first hit the big screen on May 25, 1983, capping off the original trilogy of Star Wars films in grand fashion.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi saw Luke Skywalker save Han Solo and Princess Leia from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt, battle Darth Vader in one of the franchise's most memorable lightsaber duels, and ultimately defeat Emperor Palpatine. While there are those who prefer Empire Strikes Back, there are others who prop up Return of the Jedi as their favorite film in the franchise, and now fans can celebrate the movie's anniversary by collecting new figures of Darth Vader, Han Solo, a Weequay, and Admiral Piett.

The headliner for this new line of Star Wars Vintage Collection figures is the 3.75-inch Darth Vader (Death Star II) toy, showcasing the iconic Star Wars villain as he appeared in Return of the Jedi. One of the most memorable moments in Return of the Jedi was when Vader revealed his face to Luke, and so it's fitting that the new figure comes with a removable helmet. Inspired by the classic Kenner line of Star Wars figures, the Vader figure also includes a lightsaber accessory. The new Darth Vader toy, and the rest of the 3.75-inch figures, will be available this summer at Hasbro Pulse and other major retailers for $16.99.

While the new Darth Vader Star Wars Vintage Collection figure may drum up the most interest from fans, many will also be excited to add new figures of Han Solo, a Weequay, and Admiral Piett to their collections as well. The Han Solo, Weequay, and Admiral Piett figures all come with blasters, though the Weequay also has a melee weapon at his disposal.

The Darth Vader (Death Star II), Han Solo, Weequay, and Admiral Piett figures aren't the only Return of the Jedi figures Hasbro has on deck for release this year. Pre-orders are available now for a variety of other Vintage Collection figures, including an AT-ST and Chewbacca set that retails for $89.99 and $199.99 recreation of Boba Fett's starship. Some of these figures have already sold out, so interested Star Wars fans may want to get their orders in ASAP.

Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Return of the Jedi figures will be available summer 2023.
